One day an unusual thing happened.

I emerged out of the back side of the college after a night shift when I found that girl loitering in the college park. The same swinging girl.

I unwittingly walked to her.

"Hello; what's going on?", I said to her. Here....at this hour?

"I like being lonely", she replied.

"Sorry....I disturbed you.", I told her.

"No, no. I will enjoy your company." She raised her eyelids to peer at me.

I was a bit stunned.

Her blue eyes were bright but her face was very sad.

The blue of her eyes was drowning me.

She advanced towards me, when suddenly a voice called out, Mr. Chris! What are you doing here?

I turned to find the college night cleaner standing there.

The girl briskly walked away.

I answered the night cleaner, "Nothing. Nothing really.". I also existed a little flustered.

There was no trace of that girl out there.

I went back home wondering about that girl. I was really puzzled over her blue eyes and sad face.

I used to wonder, Why was she lonely? Why does she like being alone? Did something happen to her?

All sorts of questions used to come in my mind.

Soon, I got tired of brooding and fell off to sleep as it was 2:30 am.

About 7 hours later, I woke up, got refreshed, and we t for a walk I did not spot her in the morning.

But later that evening I had spotted her again when I came back from duty.

I went to her naturally.
