"Strange! I never saw you before."
"Came from Rock Island only last week." (She named a nearby town)
"I see" I asked her. "Will you be my friend?"
She replied with a smile, "Sure, why not?"
I extended my hand. She clutched it.
We were now friends.
I asked her, "Why haven't you got any friends here?"
She replied, "I don't like guys. They are all selfish... Greedy for money"
However I and Dona became good friends. We went to places every alternate day.
We used to talk about lots of things.

After a few days, I asked her, "Why do you always go out during night only?"
"Because the night are so peaceful" she added, "There are no crowds and it is always silent.
I smiled at her.
