CANON: you have to have a favorite band, right?
NON-CANONICAL: Linda's an OG Blockhead. I developed this theory when I started watching Blue Bloods (a few years ago).
First off, if I like a tv/movie, I'm gonna look up my fave character's actor/tress to see what they've done. When I learned that Donnie/Danny was Donnie from NKOTB..... well, an obsession began.
So Linda is an OG blockhead, and loves Donnie Wahlberg. The family (Danny, mainly) gets annoyed with this at some points. Truth be told, Danny just likes endlessly teasing his wife for liking a boy band, and a member that looks exactly like him.
Can you imagine Linda going through boxes and boxes of old NKOTB merch, and continuously saying, "I forgot I even had that!" Or, "wow. I really am a fan girl, aren't I?" Or her excitement in 2008 when they reunited?
This is probably my greatest head cannon to date
Oh, one more thing. Linda's favorite NKOTB songs are Cover Girl and Twisted
