"Good evening Fosters." Kaito greets me as he steps inside my office.

"It's evening? I thought it was morning?" I look at my watch, which says a.m, puzzled.

"Watch giving you trouble again?"

"Apparently so." I set my watch back to the right time. "So, what brings you by?" I recline back in my chair, my arms under my head.

"Oh, you know, curiosity. I was wondering if you'd have a head after little Miss WATCH Captain visited you." Kaito's eyes flashed a smile as his air filter whirred in front of his mouth.

Kaito "Kaijuu" Kagamira was a short man with a menacing posture and reputation. His large eyes shone their cold black iris' and gleaming sclera, which was often filled with a look of pure bloodlust. His cheekbones were thin, as were his lips. His skin was scarred and rough like a ghostly pale stone that had been thrown repeatedly at a brick wall. His hair hung in short yet shaggy black strands covering his neck, ears, and top part of his temple. His jaw was sharp and his chin formed a small point. His nose was small and nearly invisible when looking straight forward on it. A long, skinny neck lead down from his chin to his narrow shoulders, these of which long slender arms with thin, long-fingered hands snaked down from. In between these slender arms, a compact and muscular chest and abdomen sat hidden by a long black robe. Also hidden beneath the robe were short, wide legs drastically unproportional to the rest of the tall, thin body. A thin black strap crossed over the front of the robe and snaked to his back where a long, blue to purple multi-chrome coated metal, bullet-proof and shatter-proof katana with a green, purple, and blue glass eye embedded in the end of the hilt, which was able to, if used correctly, deflect bullets. A man of mystery, violence, and even myth. Kaito "Kaijuu" Kagamira. One of the most ruthless criminals in ND and by far the strongest and hardest to capture or kill criminal. The title "Kaijuu" means monster in Japanese. He was given it after he be-headed the leader of the Subway Serpents, which was once the most powerful syndicate group before Kaito decided he didn't like it's leader. He was so feared that if you said the name "Kagamira" in a crowded street or on a crowded train, all those around you would get as far away from you as possible. Even the "Untouchables" feared him, and they fear no one. They fear him so much that they have asked him to join them numerous times, which he turned down each time. The WATCH hate him and want oh so badly to bring him in but they had to make an immunity deal with him, so they can't touch him. His robe conceals his muscles quite well so many underestimate him, resulting in either them severely injured or dead. He was skilled with a katana and his bare hands. He was genetically modified, as many were in that time period, so he was faster, stronger, more agile, flexible, resilient, more intelligent, and more empathetic than someone who has studied emotions all their life. He healed faster, bled slower, metabolized faster, used less energy, retained water longer, had a larger range of safe temperature, minimum temp of around 30°C/86°F and a maximum of 45°C/113°F, had tougher skin, stronger teeth, stronger muscles, sharper eyes, lighter weight, stronger hearing, a stronger immune system, and even a stronger sense of smell. He was the 'better human', fine tuned in a lab as a fetus to "perfection". Though, as with anything mankind or even nature creates, he wasn't perfect. His only flaw was that he still had the one thing that always brought a person down. Emotions. A perfect human wouldn't have these, but then they wouldn't have any will, anything to pull them forward.

I stare at Kaito, my mind some place else, seeing him but at the same time not.

"Kyden? Whatever are you staring at?" The sound of Kaito's deep, cold, and calm voice breaks my trance and I blink as I jolt in my chair.

"Huh?" I grunt in surprise, looking Kaito in the eyes.

"What were you staring at?"

"Oh. N-nothing, just got lost in the absence of thought..."

"Oh... Well I suppose that is normal for you."

"Yeah." My voice lowers in volume as I look back to my monitor. "So, why are you here?" I decide to ask again, though I know I probably won't get an answer.

"As I said, curiosity. Also thought maybe I could help Snappy Cappy and her sidekick, Deputy Dumb, hide the body or reattach the head." He chuckles at his grim humor and I suddenly realize why he's here.

"Deputy Dumb, huh? That suppose to mean Avianne? Cute that you have a nickname for him." I raise my eyebrow smugly. Kaito's face contorts from pale, calm, and cool to red, embarrassed, and surprised.

"W-what do you mean?" He turns his head away, still very flushed.

"Oh, you know, cute that you two are friends." I decide I want to survive this and not piss Kaito.

"Oh! Right! Of course! Frie-acquaintances." He stops himself from saying friends. I smile and shake my head. Kaito stands and approaches my desk.

"Well, I best be off." And with that, he heads out the door. I follow him with my gaze until the clouded glass doors close behind him. I sigh, pushing my chair back and standing up. I gather my things and head to the door. I shake my left wrist back and forth. A transparent blue holographic screen materializes into existence above my wrist. I raise my wrist to just below my mouth and speak into a small microphone.

"Turn Amery Int. Office Lights OFF." The light in the room immediately winks out of existence, leaving only the blue light from the holographic screen to illuminate the room. I shake my wrist again and the screen flashes off. I turn to the lab.
