(when bailey came back with grant about the boy situation)

i was getting hungry so i walk out to the school building with the intention of getting a burger or something.

i kept my head down, looking at my phone until i bumped into someone. i look up to see bailey with glossy eyes. "bailey? are you okay?"

she looks down then back up at me, the gloss in her eyes gone but i could tell those big blue eyes held pain inside. she puts on a sarcastic smile and says, "fine"

she walked past me and got into her car. i tried to look for grant only to see him banging his steering wheel. i jog up to his car and knock on his window making him look up and roll the window down.

"what happened, man?" he just sighs and looks at me. "my family is so fucked up" before i could say anything else we rolls the window up and drives out of the parking lot.

i hop in my car, hoping i could catch up to him only to see bailey getting out of her car in front of the woods. i was about to pull in, only to see a chain blocking my way.

"fuck it" i whisper to myself as i drive my car through the chain, breaking it. i continue to drive in the path and see an opening where i'm hoping bailey is.

at this point rain in pouring down on my windshield making me get out because i can't see.

right when i get out i see bailey in the middle of the trees. i was about to close my door but i get pushed back onto my car by a strong force which pushes down many trees along with it after i could her scream.

i shut my door due to it still being open, to see her face drenched in water. she starts to charge towards me, "it was like this when i got here, i swear" she yells over the rain.

"no. i just saw you tear the trees out of the ground" i say, looking back at the trees that formed a circle around her, and when she gets close enough to me she pushes her finger into my chest making me shuffle back a little bit, "you tell anyone, i mean  anyone, and you're dead! promise me you won't tell a soul, promise?!" she yells, i just nod my head not being able to think of anything beside the fact that she just did that.

she rushes out of the woods to leave me looking at the circle of trees that almost landed on my car and my thoughts.

i enter the house, soaked and freaking out. i see my dad and grant in the living room freaking out until they see me.

"bailey, where you you? you had us worried sick" my dad says as i just go up the stairs, "out" i say not wanting to explain anything.

i enter my room and shut my door turning on the shower immediately. i take all my clothes off  and step into the steaming hot water.

i decided to not let it freak me out. i just need to calm down and think. i also need to call him, or text or something about this whole situation. ethan knowing and telling someone is the thing i should be freaked out about.
