You know how whenever your late for a class, every student turns around and looks at you like you just stole the Declaration of Independence and then assassinated the President? Well, I got to experience that quite a bit.
"Late once again, Mr. Barakat. Take a seat," My French teacher, Madam Treece, annoying spoke to me.
I rolled my eyes and sat down. In front of me was some preppy bi.tch and behind me was Rian Dawson. He was kind of pudgy and his teeth were whiter than anything I had ever seen. He was always smiling for some reason but anyway... I turned toward him and I noticed his Face to Face shirt.
"Woah, you like Face to Face?" I inwardly cringed at how nerdy I sounded.
He gave me a weird look, almost as if to say why are you talking to me?
"Uh, yeah. I do," he said kind of dryly.
I was gonna turn around and vow to never talk to him again, but I remembered what Alex told me. Rian was a god on drums and I had to at least try to see about the band Alex and I were gonna start.
"Hey um, I'm in a band and I hear you're a sick drummer so why don't you check us out sometime?" He suddenly seemed to be interested in what I was saying.
"Band? What is it called?" He asked me.
"Well, we're in between names right now but Playground X seems like it's gonna be a winner," I said seriously.
Rian laughed. Like really seriously laughed which gained the attention of a few students and Madam Treece.
"Something funny, Boys?" Madam Treece questioned.
"No," we said in unison after Rian calmed himself.
"Good. Now Turn around and be quiet." I hated this woman. I hated this class. I turned around in my seat and began whatever we were supposed to be doing.
"I'll swing by and check out your band tomorrow afternoon," I heard Rian whisper behind me. I smiled in Victory.
Now all we needed was a bass player.

"Jack! Don't let go, Jack," Alex or "Rose" held tightly onto my and as I slowly slid down the slid or "into the ice-cold water."
We were at out neighborhood park and were getting weird looks from parents who were whispering to their kids to stay away from the "weird, big kids."
Alex let go of my hand and I fell to freeze to death in the icy blue prentend water.
"Jack!" My Rose yelled at me, gettin even more weird looks from adults and even some from a couple of kids.
I layed there, prentending to be dead of drowning or hypothermia or something of the sorts.
"Hey, Jack," Alex called down to me. I sat right up. "Let's go back to my house."
I nodded and we dusted ourselves off. He grabbed my hand and we ran to the park's exit and to Alex's home.
Once we were there, we basically just watched stupid movies all night until he said, "Jackie, come to bed with me."
I looked over and his eyes were droopy and his his was slightly messy. He looked like he could fall aleep right there and it was adorable.
He stood up and pulled me up with him. He led me to his bedroom and fell back on his bed. He pulled me with him.
I turned. My back was to his chest and he reached around me and pulked me closer. His chest was firmly pressed against my back and I felt his breathing on my neck. Our bodies seemed to fit together perfectly, they always did.
"Good night, Jack."
"Good night, Rose."
