"Sarah, get up." I want to open my eyes, but I can't.
"You have to get up and look at me." The voice called out again. It was deep, manly and very soothing. I just felt like sleeping even more.
"Listen to me." This time the source of the voice started shaking me by my shoulders. His touch felt like electricity pulsing through my body.
My eyes open. I looked up at the figure I front of me.
I screamed.
It was cloaked with a black fabric and it shined so brightly that it came to life. I looked closely and I realized that it shined because of the stars on it. The cloak was made up of the night sky. Who was this guy?
"Wh-who are you?" I say, fear evident in my voice. "And what are you doing in my bedroom?"
That's when I realize, I'm not in my room anymore. I don't know where I am. I look around, it's dark and damp, yet cozy and comfortable. I can make out trees around me. I'm in a forest. There's light pouring in through the canopy above me. It's beautiful yet something seems odd. Even though I'm in a forest I can't hear the animals or the insects. It's quite, very quite. The kind of silence thats screaming to be broken.
"Where am I?" I whisper, scared that I might break the silence.
"That's none of your concern." The figure says. Even though I'm meeting him for the first time his voice seems oddly familiar. But I shake that fact off.
"Im here to grant you your wish."
"What? What wish?"
"The wish which will change your life forever. Make you what you wanted to be. It'll give you power to stand up against those who try and suppress you."
"I don't understand."
"Just say yes and all your problems will go away."
It sounded so tempting. But I had to think. And before I knew it the word slipped out of my mouth.
"Yes."
"Congrats, you just made a deal with the Devil." I couldn't see his face, but I knew he was smiling a sinister smile.
Wait. What...The Devil!!
That's when I woke up with this excruciating pain in my back. What the hell just happened? I must have been dreaming. I run my hand through my hair trying to smooth them out, when my hand touches something soft on my back. I have no idea what it is so I get out of my bed and start walking towards the mirror.
I have trouble walking. What the hell? Why does my back feel so heavy? I stumble and fall on my face. Pain, the kind I have never felt before, runs through my body. I try and get up. But I can't, the pain is too much for me to bear. I look up and see my reflection in the mirror.
I have wings!
Not that can't be right. I'm human, and humans don't have wings.
They are as white as the freshly fallen snow. The tips are tinted with a shade of black which slowly turns into the same shade as my hair, red, and then eventually white.
I stand up. And walk towards the mirror to get a better view. They drag behind me. I have trouble walking but I get used to it. I try to spread them and they lift up like the wings of a bird in mid flight. They are so beautiful. I look at my reflection in the mirror, I look like an angel.
Angel. That's what I told Angela. That's what I wished for.
So the dream actually happened. I truly met the Devil and made a deal with him.
I made a deal with the freaking Devil. What am I going to do? How am I going to hide these things?
I sigh. I don't know what am going to do. Before I know it tears start streaming down my face. I stand there, looking at my self and crying. I close my eyes and pinch myself. Hoping that this all just a dream, that I'll wake up and everything will be normal.
I open my eyes but they are still there. I wipe the tears away. And decide to go back to sleep. Maybe tomorrow morning everything will be alright. Maybe everything will go back to the way it was.
...................
Next day in school.
"Sarah, are you alright?" Angela asked me, she was worried.
"Yeah, I'm fine. You go on ahead, I just have to use the washroom." Angela did not notice anything odd, nobody is staring at me. The why does my back still feel heavy. I walk in to the washroom and look into the mirror.
They are still there. My beautiful wings are still there. Then why can't anybody else see them. Are they invisible to the human eye?
I walk out of the washroom, still confused of what's going on, when I bump into the last person I want to meet.
"Watch where your going." Damian said. He looked at me and I swear I saw his eyes dart to where my wings were and back at me. Can he see them? No I must be imagining things. His blue eyes where looking for something in my eyes.
I suddenly felt my cheeks going red.
This is no time to blush Sarah.
"I'm sorry." I blurt those words out and start running towards my class.
And I don't know why his aura felt very familiar.
.............
Dun dun dhunn..

Be careful of what you wish for!
FantasíaOh my god. This is not happening, not to me, not now. Shit. I should have never wished for anything. I should have been careful. I look at myself in the mirror. Everything about me seems normal, except for a pair of white wings behind my back...
