A silent scream (denki x mute! Reader)

You had never spoken, well you have when you said your first words. Until one day after your 7th birthday you just stopped talking all together. People would mock you and say things slowly.

"Huh idiot learn how to speak or something!" They would yell. It always made you feel lonely. You got good at drawing though.

Your quirk was was scribble share. You could draw it on a piece of paper and tell the others about a game plan though thoughts and they could understand you. That's how you got recommend for UA.

You walked into the loud classroom of all sorts of people. Your seat was behind a guy with blonde guy with a black streak in his hair.

"Hey your kinda cute what's your name?" He asked you. You wrote it down on paper and showed it to him. "Y/n huh that's a nice name! Wait are you the mute student that everyone has been talking about?"

You nodded not knowing what he would say next.

"I've been trying to learn sign language for a bit now I can only do the alphabet." He told you. You clapped and smiled at him.

(Funny story my sister had a whole conversation with a deaf girl trying to get her to go on a date. She had to spell out every word. She found out that the girl had a boyfriend or girlfriend idk)

The guy walked away did he not understand me? The guy you were talking to seemed to move on quickly but he was nice.

A few weeks later

You had been been teaching Denki sign language for a bit now and he was actually quick to pick it up. His friends liked you as well and everything just seemed better now.

"Hey Y/n you wanna get ice cream with me this weekend?" Denki asked you as you both were carrying books. You nodded and opened the door.

That same day some kids in other classes that you went to middle school with stopped you in your tracks.

"How does it feel to have real friends weirdo."

"There just hanging out with you since you in there class!"

They all started kicking you making you feel bad when you just screamed. You heard someone grunt and fall to the floor.

"Don't touch her idiots!" Denki yelled. He helped you up and you tightly hugged him. "Are you alright?" You nodded and started crying.
