"Katsuki be back by sundown!" My dumb mom yelled.

"Yeah yeah I heard you ya idiot!" I yelled back. Dad hired me as a fisherman for his company so I went out to the ocean and grabbed a small canoe, bait, and my fishing line.

Fishing was boring one day I was gonna be a dragon killer! I like those guys there tough and fishing clearly doesn't suit them.

It had been a few hours and I hadn't caught anything. Until a really heavy fish came to bite. It swam up to my boat and tossed a fish up. Was it a person?

"Hey dumbass get out you could die or hypothermia!" I yelled. The thing peered over the edge of my boat. She was beautiful with h/c hair and some gills on her neck. Her hands were webbed like a duck.

"I live out here how could I die of cold water?" She asked. I just looked at her shocked that she could speak. "What you've never heard of a mermaid before?"

"N-no I have but I've never seen them!" I yelled. She giggled a bit more.

"Well duh most humans have only caught our brothers and they flop around like danger!" She told me. "I must go my mother needs me." I waved back at her and it was getting dark out so I rowed back shore.

I set my stuff up and looked down the road. Tensei Iida was the strongest dragon killer in our town but All Might will forever live on. The stupid boy in the round house was talking to him.

The mermaid's point of view

"Oh come on if he wasn't dangerous then let her see him from time to time." Mother yelled at my father. My siblings danced around having fun while I'm listening to stupid conversations on why we can't meet in private!

"Before you know it she will want feet!" Father yelled. "We cannot afford that to our species right now!" I packed a satchel one that the boy left behind and packed a few things and swam off. My h/c hair flowing in the water behind me.

I couldn't tell if I was crying or not but I soon was stuck in a fisher net. They scooped me up and a guy blew a cigar in my face.

"Your a real beautiful fish now what's yer name!" He boomed. I stayed quiet and looked around for someone to help me. "I said what's yer name!" I just screamed at the top of my lungs. This guy was strange. He grabbed the satchel and dumped all of my notes of humans out.

"Mr Todoroki please let the girl go she did nothing wrong!" A green haired boy yelled. The man turned around and I cut the net with my fingers. That was too close for comfort. I swam to the bottom of the lake and slept under the log there.

The next morning I swam passed some rocks and ducked behind them. The boy from yesterday was still here. I slowly swam up to his boat and he smiled at me.

"You know it's kinda rude to not tell people your name." He told me.

"Oh it's Y/n L/n." I told him.

"The name is Katsuki Bakugou." He told me. He seemed more upset today. "Why did you swim up here at night when you know everything is dangerous now there looking for mermaids to kill again."

"Can we be friends?" I asked. He just looked at me confused. "I only have had my siblings so please be my friend!" He patted my head and just weirdly smiled.

17 years later

"Bro why do you go out to this lake every single day?" Kirishima asked. He got in the boat and I rowed us to the middle. Strange she wasn't here today or maybe she is pulling a trick on me. I swam down to where she sleeps under an old log that could crush her. She was sleeping peacefully holding something.

She woke up and kissed me. We swam upwards and Kirishima just seemed lost.

"This is my girlfriend also known as Y/n L/n." I grumbled. She put some shells on my head like a crown. "She is also a mermaid."

"Hi you must be Kirishima! I really like your hair I wish my hair was red! You never told me people could have sharp teeth!" She yelled.

"He's the only one with sharp teeth." I calmly told her. She smiled and got on the boat with us.

"You didn't tell me she was topless!" Kirishima yelled.

"Oh yeah sorry about that we don't exactly have clothes!" She yelled a bit to loud. "Did you get a potion to turn me into a human yet?"

"Yep I have it right here." I told her. "Here drink this." She immediately took it and drank it. "Your gonna need this." I handed her a dress and she was beautiful. Even more beautiful than she was before.

She got on the clothes and smiled. We brought he back to shore. We taught her how to walk and she soon got it down a bit. It looked a bit strange but it would have to work.

She was super happy about everything and hugged me.

"I love you Katsuki!" She yelled

"I love you too."
