Chap 8: meeting an old friend & thinking of names!!

While Hellhounds are on the run they discovered that their phones not only have a map of the Renla and can call but they can also text, and track your team if you add them on an app called party up where you add people for your team in it and you can track where they are on the map and mark areas on the map (think of RWBY if you have watched it). They also discovered that the phones are indestructible and that if you lose them, it transports back to them and that their battery never runs out of power. They also started brainstorming mission names and last names for each other with no luck so far until now.

Morgan's pov

"Guys I just thought of a last name for me." I said smiling in joy and everyone turned away from what they were doing to look towards me "What is it?" Troy asked I turned and looked "It would be Emberroot." I said looking anxiously at them to see what they are going to say about my new last name. "I like it suits you." Bella said while the rest of them nodded in approval but before they could turn back and continue training we then suddenly saw a large vortex that looked like the one that sucked us in. Opened up and drop someone that looked very familiar to me with a bag next to them, we then started to run over to them and that's when I saw "EVAN!!!" I yelled out loud in shock which startled my friends and caused them to turn their heads quickly towards me. "Do you know this teenager?" Caleb asked me I then nodded to him and started to explain how I know him "Yeah Evan Hansen used to be one of my neighbors before he moved back to a different house that was in the neighborhood and I would go over to his house to babysit him while playing games with him and we became friends." I said looking at Evan in worry. I then picked up Evan with his bag and started to move him to our camp I then looked at my friends that started to follow me quietly then I whispered to them "I will watch Evan till he wakes up you guys continue to train but move away a bit so you guys do not wake him with the loud noises." they then all nodded to me then started to walked away "Hope you're okay when you wake up Evan." I whispered to myself.

still Morgan's pov

I was still with Evan, it was starting to get dark yet Evan still hasn't woken up yet, Caleb, Chandler, and Jacob went to go hunting while the rest of us aside from me started to walk to the camp to get the fire started. Bella walked over to me "Hey any signs about the kid waking up yet?" Bella asked me "No and that makes me worried about him." I said to her in worry she touched my shoulder and told me "Hey don't worry he will be okay and I have a feeling that he will have powers like we have, which we will have to train him and I know that we will be with him all the way." That gave me hope that he will be okay "Thanks Bella that helps me a lot." I told her in thanks. "Hey no problem, Morgan just know that we always have your back and his now as well." Bella said while shaking her hand in the air then all of a sudden we heard a groan to our right "Ugh...Where am I." Evan said when he sat up I quickly moved towards him "Evan are you okay? Do you hurt anywhere?" I fired off to him quickly "I am okay Morgan I don't hurt anywhere so far. WAIT MORGAN!!!" Evan yelled while jumping up and tackling me in a hug which I wasn't anticipating which caused me to fall on my back "Oof." which fell from my mouth when I hit the ground, Evan, then started to yell at me about where have I been and how am I which caused me to chuckle "Well buddy it's good to see you. Did you see any weird vortex before you woke up here?" I asked him to see if he saw the same thing "Yeah saw a weird vortex thing. What do you mean woke up here? Where is here?" he asked me before he got off me and started to look around. He started to freak out "WHERE ARE WE AT AND WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE MORGAN!!!" Evan yelled out scared then suddenly sparks started to come out of his hand I quickly stood up to calm him down before we found out what his powers are "Hey Evan calm down I will try to explain where we are. Okay, buddy, these people are my friends and some of my other friends are currently hunting." I said to him calmly. Evan started to calm down which was good because my other friends started to make their way towards me and Evan except for Bella because she was already near me and the ones hunting I could see them with warthog walking back quickly to where we are. "Okay I'm calm now can you explain who your friends are? Where we are?" Evan shot questions at me "Okay first I'll point at each of them so you will know who they are. The second is that we are on a continent called Renla in a world called Legrotara." I said then started to point at everyone separately once everyone is there with Bella, Evan, and I "that is Bella, Troy, Octavian, Jacob, Caleb, and Chandler." I said to Evan then continued "So from what we can tell is that some of the people in this world have gifts some more common, than others and some not as common like me being a shapeshifter that's rare in some continents. Then there are people in this world with no gifts they go to regular school or knight school." to him calmly. "Wait you guys have gifts?" Evan questioned with disbelief in his tone "Yeah we do and so do you from the sparks I saw from your hands." I told him while maintaining eye contact so he could tell I was telling the truth "Yes I have a gift so I'm not alone!" Evan said jumping in excitement. My friends and I started to laugh at his excitement "*chuckling* Okay buddy calm down you won't have fun when you figure out the amount of work you have to do to train it and unlock your next chapter. There are no cutting corners okay because if you do you could end up hurting yourself or others" I told him in a no-nonsense tone while looking straight at him so he knew I was serious. "Yes I understand but when do we start? because I want to start now" Evan said with a whiny tone I just looked at the sky and saw how dark it was becoming when I saw that I started brainstorming how I could start training with him 'Wait, Chandler's with us he could imagine lights' I thought because earlier when we decided to make camp we made a decision not to have Chandler make lights because that could give us away so we went with a campfire, I then looked at my friends and saw how tired they were from training. I then said, "How about this I'll help you train while they get dinner ready and they'll probably go to sleep after dinner while for us we'll continue training till you're tired, okay is that a good deal for you Evan." I said to Evan who nodded at me then I turned to Chandler and said to him "Do you think you could imagine us some lights for Evan and me, so he and I can train tonight." while the rest of them look like they are going to protest about me train at night with a kid with nobody being a spotter to heal me since Bella had a spell that could heal us because they were worried that his gift would get out of hand if they are busy doing something else. "I'll do it only if you make extra sure that you don't get injured by his gift in case it gets out of hand and if you do practice will be postponed till tomorrow. deal?" Chandler said while everyone besides Evan was looking at me because they know how reckless I can become when training but I huff in disbelief but none the less "You have a deal." I said to Chandler who then went to imagine some lights that would disappear when it was dinnertime for Evan and me far away from the camp which was a good thing because we don't know how destructive Evan's gift is. My other friends except for Evan left to get dinner ready for us, I then turn to Evan "Okay before we began you have to read your book so we can figure out what your gift is and how to proceed with them to control them before they start getting out of hand. We also have to check your bag to see if you have a water bottle and phone as well so we can add you to the team and teach you what the rest of the apps are. So are you ready to start now?" I said looking at Evan seeing him shake in excitement then he suddenly yelled: "YEA LET'S DO THIS!!" I just shook my head and chuckled then looked at where chandler went and saw that he was done with the lights that I asked for along with some medical supplies in case of injuries.
