Weiss pov

Me and Blake were shocked at the turn of events it should have been easy, but no yang had to be the mother and hover over Ruby over a little headache. Me and Blake had a well thought out plan but I guess it doesn't matter now that we are most likely going to die here. Ozpin warned us about the followers of the sorcerer king, my mind was rushing to come up with a way to try to escape. The bug creature cocytus I think the girl called it, seemed to nod and let out the equivalent of a sigh it could and began to go into the portal.

Cocytus: I'll take my leave then.

I would have tried to stop them but I have to keep my gaurd up if I'm going to...

*Slunk *

*thud*

A immense pain ran through my body, mainly my right arm I also noticed that I was not holding mytenaster anymore. I feared for the worst as I slowly turn toward my right arm trembling, only to be greeted by a bloody stub. My arm lay on the ground next to mytenaster, I hold onto the spot were my arm was in hopes of stopping the bleeding. I tried to hold in the scream that crawled halfway up my throat but the pain was to much.

Weiss: aaaaaaaaaagh!!!

Regular pov

As weiss was screaming Blake watched on in horror as her teammates desperately tried to stop the bleeding from where her arm use to be. The fear in her was escalating due to the speed in which that has happened so Blake decided that it is better weiss than her so she left a copy of her and ran as fast as she could. Aura took her turn and decided to hit Blake only for it to be a clone, aura looked disappointed at the empty spot where the young cat faunas was. Said faunas was actually almost halfway off the mountain, aura decided to let the kitty enjoy it's temporary freedom before lord ainz decides to rule over the world.  Meanwhile shalltear was getting annoyed with the creatures screams so in a swift movement she slit the lesser  beings throat turning it's screams into desperate gurgles for air.

Weiss amongst the pain and the lose of air she began to crawl to shalltear, she grabbed onto her shoes. At this shalltear adopted a disgusted look at weiss and promptly kicked her off. Then looked at her shoes in sadness.

Shalltear: awwww my good shoes

Meanwhile 

Cocytus slowly laid Ruby down on a lavish bed after he had aura heal her wounds  along with the woman with her. The blond haired woman was placed in a room in another section of the temple to be cleaned and given proper attire, since it seems to be loyal to they're lord. So he'll feed it and bathe it when it Wakes up, he was worried for their ruler who was sweating and tossing and turning but he'll have to wait till she Wakes up. So they may perform the test.

Ruby's pov (dream world )

I sit in the darkness not alone this time,  I sit with two figures a human wearing average button up shirt and a giant skeleton wearing lavish robes and multiple amounts of expensive jewelry. They stopped chanting (thank goodness) and came to sit and talk to me we chatted for awhile talking about random things like what do I like, what's my favorite color, where do I see myself in thirty years, etc. All in all they are chill dudes like satoru is a business man where he's from and he loves video games but he's more into rpg's and the like me and him were geeking out just a while ago. The skeleton well he's a flipping skeleton!!! What's there not to like !!

Ainz: haha yes that is intresting

Satoru: yeah, it's to bad that we don't have anything to drink

Ruby: wait how does ainz eat or drink?

Ainz: that's simple I don't

Satoru/ruby: oh

Everything got quiet and the other two looked at me in a menacing way the atmosphere has gotten colder they both looked serious now. The first one to talk was satoru.

Satoru: well Ruby that was a fun conversation but I'm afraid we have to talk to you about somthing important.

Ainz: yes very important indeed

I looked down and nodded knowing what they mean ,they asked the question at the beginning of the conversation but I put it off for later but now I guess I can't avoid it.

Satoru: what is your decision Ruby are you going to go back to your normal life...

Ainz: or continue with the current direction we are heading

I looked down in contemplating the choices that were given, I let out a long sigh both are equally good choices. I turn to satoru, on one hand I could return back to my old life and be the hero I always wanted to be just like mom but all the events that have occurred came to mind. What Blake and weiss said about ozpin wanting to kill me, then my old life might as well be over. At least I would know what I'm getting into unlike with ainz, I slowly turn toward the giant skeleton when I asked if I'll be me he said...

Ainz: I don't know

That scares me a little bit not only will I not be able to know what comes next but from what ainz has told me he was a total monster. It would me that I'll be throwing away all that mom stood for, what dad stood for, what I stood for. It's not to say I can't do any good it's just that things may be different, though another thought came to mind. Wouldn't be wrong not to accept change and go forward, yeah I did not have a chance to impact anything but I had my shot and blew it so would it be foolish not to choose ainz. Ugh my brain hurts I wish it would be simpler.

Ruby: can I choose both

Satoru: no unfortunately

Ainz: you can only choose one

I looked down and let out a long sigh but looked up, I stood up ready to make my choice. I began walking toward ainz who covered me in his robe and began to lead me away from satoru, when I looked back I saw myself looking at me with a saddened gaze. In the end I have to look forward and continue there is no going back so I closed my eyes and turned forward a tear leaving my eye as I walked with ainz.

Ainz: you will not regret this Ruby you will be more powerful then you can ever imagine

Then I was alone again walking in the darkness as it slowly changed me, molding me into what I was destined to be. No longer shall I be known as Ruby or ainz ool gown, no I must have the name that ainz threw away before he adopted the title of the sorcerer king, before he he was the ruler of nazerick.

As bright light consumed the room where the former Ruby lay the light died down after awhile and the now dubbed momanga opened her red eyes to the world.
