12. burning dawn

The day was bright on the ice covered peek of Mt . Glenn, a gentle breeze slowly tickled momonga's face as the day seemed to greet her her with such beauty. With her new height she gained she feels like she could reach the clouds it felt as though she was the pinnacle of authority. Though with all the new body's advantages it seems that her hair was longer and more troublesome along with its color changing to a light gray and to top it all off her right side of her face itches so bad. She also has some trouble remembering certain spells, she knows they're name but she can't remember how to cast them. That does not concern her for she could learn them again and gain the lost exp in two years but what concerns her is the amount of residents that left and her emotions or lack there of.

When she saw yang she felt barely anything normally she would be extatic to see her again but when she saw her, she was happy to see yang but it felt very dull and time consuming. She opted to save the subject for later since she remembers that she has to address and approve the plans for Vale before 3. She closed the door to the balcony behind her and slowly made her way to her book shelf in her study and pulled out a volume of 'magical incantation and you' and  volume 3 of the series ' the almanac of demonic summons' before she went to sit she grabbed 'internal love' just incase she got bored. She set them on her desk with a thud as she opened 'magical incantation and you' it was a thick book but she will prevail. The book was a informative guide on the workings of scrolls and spells she took notes on a piece of paper on her desk.

2 hours later

Currently Momonga  is almost finished with the guide and found it informative but decided it would be best to do her work before the deadline. Just then there is a knock on the door which she answered with "come in" in which Entoma came in.

Entoma: I hope I am not interrupting your work my lady

Momonga: not at all, what brings you to me today

Entoma: I am here to notify you that there is currently a intruder at the foot of the temple

Momonga: 'already?' What are they doing now?

Entoma: currently at the moment they are being held in the dungeon at the moment they have also claimed to be a floor guardian before we subdued them

Momonga: hmm keep them there for the time being till I finish here then bring them to the interrogation room till I arrive 'could it be ? better make sure these claims are true before I decide '

Entoma: yes my lady

Momonga went back to work on the forms in front of her before catching Entoma's attention before she left the bug maid turned around to her master.

Momonga: oh before you go can you please send Yang xiao long to my study along with two menu's

Entoma: of course my mistress

With that the maid left.

Meanwhile in menagerie

Kuo kuana was quiet for it's inhabitants slept in they're but not all were in their home many white fang wonder around the streets. Especially jackie  for she was sent to keep an eye on the streets to make sure no grimm wonder into the village. There was a loud bang from a alleyway catching Jackies attention she slowly walked to the dark alley. The alley had trash strung up all over the place as expected and almost no light shone in to it say the lights from inside the building's windows but that barely did anything. She heard shuffling from the alley prompting her to take a few steps forward. As she did she could make out a silhouette then in a flash  two arms grabbed her and pulled the young faunus in to the shadows followed by a sinister giggle.
