A/N: Okay, this chapter is also like really long but it's slightly shorter than the first chapter. Sorry for the length, we may start breaking the chapters up into different parts just so they're not so long. Anyways, enjoy chapter 2!
Chapter 2Lilac's POV
I was astonished at how I and Zinnia could have something special.
"W-what was that…?" Zinnia exclaimed.
"I have no idea…..but I don't think that's supposed to happen."
I can't even believe me and my sister did that. I stared at Zinnia and felt a wave of astonishment.
"OK, well now that you know everything we should get started on finding Verity," Sachin said while walking off waving towards me and Zinnia to follow him.
"Are you sure we can trust him?" Zinnia asked in a whisper.
I stared at Sachin long and hard before I turned to Zinnia. “What other choice do we have, I mean he could really help us figure out these powers and….he doesn’t exactly look evil.” I giggled at how awkward Sachin looked standing on the hill waiting for us.
Zinnia glared at Sachin. “Looks can be deceiving…” she crossed her arms and looked at me, “but fine. I’ll admit that what just happened was quite...strange. So, if Sachin can help us then I suppose I have no other choice but to trust him.” She turned to Sachin. “But if you try anything and I mean anything funny, then you’re dead meat, understand?”
I looked over at Sachin once Zinnia said this. I and Zinnia had our eyes on him for a solid minute before he started talking. “I-I’ve no idea what you're talking about, I would never do anything funny.” It almost seemed like he was annoyed at what Zinnia said.
Well, I definitely feel the tension in the air. “OK EVERYONE, it seems like we’ve figured that out. So where do we go, Sachin?”
“Oh yes, we can go to my tailor shop where it’s comfortable,” Sachin said enthusiastically. “I’ve always wanted someone to see my secret hidden room in the tailor shop...I just never could let anyone in.”
Huh, secret room? I’ve been in and out of Sachins tailor for about four months but never realized there was a secret room in there. “Oh, ok well let’s go guys.”
Zinnias POV
We walked for about 10 minutes until we neared the eastern-edge of the marketplace. Sachin stopped in front of a small building with a small wooden sign hanging above the door. In small, white lettering it read Sachin's Tailor Shop.
We entered the shop and I looked around. It looked about how I expected. Four small sewing stations were crammed into the right side of the shop, and several different fabrics and sewing materials were strewn about the area. On the left side, there were racks and shelves holding tons of different clothing items; shirts, pants, dresses, skirts, and a few miscellaneous items. In the back of the shop, there was a small wooden counter, which I presumed is where you bought your items.
“Place is a bit messy, don’t ya’ think?” I asked as we walked to the counter in the back.
“Well, it’s hard to keep this place clean, especially since Lilac works here. She’s very unorganized.” Sachin said, smirking to himself.
“WOW, I see how it is Sachin” Lilac scoffed. “I can see your working space isn’t the neatest either” Lilac sneered.
“Well at least I know how to do a proper slip stitch,” Sachin shot back, “you’re constantly asking me for help on that one.”
