I just got off from New York. Now I'm the NBC studio as Hayes is having a talkshow interview with Jimmy Fallon. He doesn't know I'm coming home today. All he knew I'll be coming home tomorrow.
"I heard that you speak like your daughter." Jimmy says to Hayes.
"Okay so.. my youngest daughter, Lou is 2 and a half years old. 30 months old. She is very smart and talkative. She loves to sing and dancing just like Lily when she was at her age. But Lily and Luke can pronounce every letter correctly and clearly when they were at her age. Meanwhile Lou is literally my twin. She can't pronounce L and R correctly so she changed that into W. And everytime she goes mad she would be like "I don't wike it!". And it happened all the time." Hayes chuckles.
"Yeah we have the video that her mom posted on her Instagram. Watch this!" Jimmy says to the audience.
I look at to the screen and laugh as he plays the video when Lou was sitting down on her high chair during breakfast and asking for ice cream.
We have rules no ice cream for breakfast. So I gave her pancake and whipped cream and honey. Hayes cut the pancake for her and she started yelling everywhere said "I don't wike it!"
"She is very adorable. She is very adorable and know what she wants. I mean that pancake and the strawberry looks delicious." Jimmy laughs.
"When she doesn't like something or get mad, she would curl up her lips and saying that and frankly only me, her mom, and her siblings who understands what she said." Hayes laughs. "And after shooting Captain America, I took two months off and I spend everyday with her since the other two are in the elementary school. And somehow, her words got into my day to day vernacular. A thirty three year old man, suddenly said "this is cwazy" during the interview of the first day The Avengers movie shoot."
"You really said that?" Jimmy laughs at him.
"I said that. I think you got the video." Hayes says to him.
"Yes we do. Check this out." Jimmy says and play the video.
I can't stop laughing while watching the video. Hayes is a dork but I don't think he could be that dork especially during an interview.
"That is crazy." Hayes laughs and shakes his head. "There was actually one morning after I dropped the twins off to school, so Paris and I decided to take our dogs walk. We walked in Santa Monica Boulevard with our two dogs and our two years old daughter and I suddenly asked her "awe you hungwy?" I asked my wife not my daughter and she frowned at me saying "why are you start speaking like your daughter?"" Hayes laughs.
"Glad that she is your wife." Jimmy laughs. "I also read your tweet about one disaster night. What it was all about?" Jimmy asks Hayes.
"No, I'm not going to say that." Hayes shakes his head. "That's so embarrassing."
"Come on. Tell us what is that mean." Jimmy says to him.
"Alright, my wife is in New York for some events. We don't have a babysitter nor housemaid since our last one quit because she has her own family. It actually two days ago. Paris had to leave to New York for few days. So I'm in charge in daddy duty. I was sitting down on the couch in our family room, distracted Lou with Peppa Pig so I can clean her ears. Then she suddenly started crying loudly. As she was crying, my oldest daughter came to me "daddy, I need you to help me with my homework" and I told her "in a moment, sweetheart. Lou is crying." Maybe Lily was being jealous and she started crying too." Hayes shakes his head.
"Two kids crying at the same time?" Jimmy frowns at him.
"Not two. Then my son came out and crying showing me that his art craft is broken because our dog broke it. I was the only one adult and I have all my three kids crying to me. Like what am I going to do? I told them "daddy's going to faint, daddy's going to faint". Then my son stopped crying and said "I'm going to call mommy." I told him no. But he kept doing that and first sentence when Paris answered the phone was "what's wrong this time?" I mean, she knew I was in trouble." Hayes chuckles.
