Aftermath

Liam and Aedion returned to the forest where the battle is still on its peak. The rogues are fighting for their lives not knowing that their leader is already useless to defend and lead them.

Pango galloped around as Aedion and Liam killed every rogues that they come about. Riekan armies are still fighting beside their great alpha and there are already a few left of the rogues who are still fighting.

Vidarr is still above the trees together with some of his best hunters. Arrows are just flying from everywhere taking down every rogues in sight.

The battle is almost over when a speeding arrow passed the tree and hit someone above.

"Vidarr!" one of the man shouted and in time Vidarr's body fell.

Aedion abruptly turned around and jumped from the horse holding his two arms in the air facing the tree where Vidarr is almost halfway. Aedion controlled Vidarr's body in the air and slowly lie him down on the ground.

Liam and alpha Quinn rushed towards the unmoving man on the ground while the other armies and Liams friends finished every rogues, especially the one who hit Vidarr.

"Vidarr?!" Liam shouted at his already unconcious brother with an arrow pierced through his heart.

"Liam we need to bring him back to the main house. He needs Errapel" Aedion exclaimed while  he rushed beside them.

"Carry him Liam" Aedion continued and they helped Liam to carry Vidarr in his arms.

"Bring your brother to safety Liam, Ill finish this war" the great alpha Quinn exclaimed with his totally deadly aura.

Liam nodded to his father and looked at his unconcious brother with worry. Aedion and alpha Quinn nodded at each other before Aedion held Liams and Vidarrs cold hand.

"Errapel!" Aedion shouted when they appeared in the courtyard of the main house.

"My lord" Errapel came running towards them while omega Ariella is tailing behind.

Liam is slowly putting Vidarrs body on the ground with the help of Aedion when Errapel abruptly stopped in front of them with his stunned look.

"Vidarr!? Liam what happened to your brother" Ariella screamed when she saw her son on the ground and she rushed passed by Errapel who is frozen like a statue on his feet.

"Errapel what are you waiting, heal him!" Aedion snapped at the stunned omega.

"Errapel, please help my son" Ariella is already crying and put his son's head on her lap while Liam is holding his brother's hand on his.

"Mate" Errapel mumbled softly but they have all heard him.

"Errapel? What?" they all gaped at Errapel in surprise.

"My...mate" Errapel whispered softly while intently looking at Vidarrs unmoving body.

Aedion looked at Vidarr and the soft gaze of Errapel towards the alpha and he instantly understood.

"Errapel, your mate is in danger, you have to help him" Aedion slowly and carefully tell the dazed Errapel.

Errapel seemed to be awakened from his dazed state and looked at Aedion's calm eyes.

"An arrow pierced his heart, he wont last long Errapel" Aedion added clearly which made Errapel hurriedly kneeled beside Vidarrs body and with his trembling hands, he tear away Vidarrs clothes to see the extent of the arrow's blade.

"It pierced his heart" Errapel mumbled softly while gently holding the still burried arrow in Vidarrs chest.

"Help him Errapel, please" Ariella begged with her tears freely flowing her cheeks.
