About a week later strange things are still happening to all four of them each day. Adris was in her room doing her make up when her mother came in.
Adris: mom I told you to knock..…[interrupts]
Mom: oh please Ris, I thought I told you to tidy up your wardrobe [looks at her]
Adris: [chewing gum] mom...… argh
Mom: you’re still chewing those gums, young lady huh, miss popular [walks towards her] and what is happening to your skin?
Adris: I think it’s an allergic reaction [continues]
Mom: to what?
Adris: a nagging mother [laughs].
Mom: hey [hits her on her head]
Adris: ow, mom!!
Mom: yeah, anyway I came here to inform you that we’ll be driving you to school
Adris: mom we talked about this [she turns to face her]
Mom: your wardrobe is untidy, you leave for school late, you finish fuel all the time and moreover soon when you get married you’ll be on your own honey. We need to connect.
Adris: mom seriously??
Mom: yes, so better get out and let’s go before you walk to school.
Adris: argh….. fine.
She felt a sudden urge again and this time stronger. She went back to her room sat down and began to drink water from the sink hurriedly.
Adris: mom I think I’ll call Tammy to pick me up!
Mom: okay, but you better make it to school! [They leave].
[She calls Tammy]
Adris: hey come pick me up
Tammy: sure girl. Wait how...…[interrupts]
Adris: I’ll explain later.
Tammy: okay [line cut].
While there waiting, she felt the urge again, but this time her eyes were red and her canines longer and sharper. She ran out of the house with great speed and went all the way into the farm lands grabbed a man, moved with him to a quiet and hidden spot, bent his head to one side and opened her mouth to bite onto the other. The man screamed and she came back to normal out of her day dreaming then let go of him.
Adris: excuse me!! Where am I? [The man was already gone] how did I get here?!! Where’s my phone? [Checked her pockets] shit. [She left it].
She began walking around and found an old woman.
Adris: ma’am, sorry where am I?
Woman: the farm lands dear.
Adris: farmlands?! Do you know how to get to town or the university?
Woman: oh the university is the nearest. Just go down that hill.
Adris: thank you ma’am.
Woman: sure dear one.
[She walked to the school]
She meets up with Tammy at the gate and gets into the car.
Tammy: goodness, girl you left your phone!! [Gives it to her] wow this is new. Where...…. [interrupts]
Adris: Tammy don’t start alright
Tammy: [stares at her]
Adris: what?!!
Tammy: your skin…...... [interrupts]
Adris: argh I don’t want to talk about it okay?!!!
Tammy: oh my. You know these past few days you’ve been acting weird.
Adris: would you just drop it!!!
Tammy: damn, girl I’m just trying to help.
Adris: it’s just some lotion my mom is trying.
Tammy: [laughs] really oh my…..... [interrupts]
Adris: look if you’re going to go on like this….. You know what? Stop the car.
Tammy: but we’re already on the parking lot soon we’ll be stopping.......
Adris: just stop the damn car!!!
Tammy: okay, okay, gosh! [She stops]
[Adris leaves].
Tammy: [says to herself] whatever is going on with her.
While……
Instead of going to school, chase was busy watching sword videos online.
Mom: [gets into his room and speaks in a mocking guy manner] hey bra ain’t we going to school huh?
Chase: ma please not that again
Mom: well if you don’t leave soon I’ll continue
Chase: fine, okay on one condition
Mom: no you are not allowed to set conditions I’m the mom here
Chase: then I’ll stay
Mom: then I’ll continue
Chase: ma please, fine only today, but beginning tomorrow, no
Mom: okay what’s the condition?
Chase: I need like $1,200
Mom: what!! No that’s like twice your allowance
Chase: mom please, you promised to get me a present and I said I’ll think about it, now here it is
Mom: darling.....
Chase: mom, please [makes puppy eyes]
Mom: fine [he rejoices] but I’m not agreeing because of your puppy eyes [she smiles]
Chase: [hugs and pecks her] thank you mom, love you.
Mom: get out of here now mahn [laughs]
Chase: yeah I’m definitely leaving now [He left].
Then back at the school the ballers were in the locker room preparing for their football when Scott was by his locker changing. Some senior guy came up to him.
Tan: you know what freak! I don’t know how in just a few months of joining you’re already appointed captain dropping me to co-captain [moves close to him intimidatingly] listen here punk you have ghat to give up that position or…….
Scott: or else what huh! [Slams his locker]
Tan grabs him by his football jersey pushing him against the locker. Tan is the most feared guy in school because he is good at whatever he does including picking up a fight and finishing it.
Tan: hey!! [While holding him on the jersey] don’t be stupid junior huh!
Scott got really upset and felt like slashing his throat, but he tried to control it though it was too late he was about to transform. He felt the feeling again and knew he had to run out of the crowd. He pushed his way through by first hitting into Tan so hard such that he fell down and then through the players. He went into the restroom where he transformed and run out through the window into the bushes behind the school and howled. He held his head feeling a little dizzy fell to the ground and changed back to normal. He got up still wondering what is going on with him and went back into the school.
The football game started and as usual he was the best player while, others were in their clubs. Chase was free for the day so he was helping the two guys practice. As for Rose, she was in her music class as usual where they were learning new stuff. She was sited, though her mind was elsewhere. Her dreams worsened such that now she was day dreaming. Her eyes were opened, but it’s like her soul left her body and was in her dream. She started chanting words….
Rose: [whispering saying this quick and repeated] Prostateftes, dystyxws o xronos einai geitonikos. Aneveite isxyrh ke isxyrh me isws na min aresi pote allote. Adimetwpiste ton ex8ro ths eirinhs.
Teacher: Rose, Rose, Rose!! [She woke up from it] are you with us?
Rose: yes, sir
Teacher: pay attention!
The next day Chase orders a sword online which he now uses to fight with at home. Even he doesn’t understand how and why he is always doing it every day of his life now. Rose dreams all over again chanting the same words. She even starts to write them almost everywhere including on her tests and assignments. She's always asking for extra papers during tests to start all over.
While in school, four letters were sent to the school in their class bearing the four names Scott, Chase, Adris and Rose.
