"You're quite dilligent, sir."
The blonde haired enchantress said as she hugged the box of dried lavenders, decorated with the royal blue ribbon."I gift you things like this every week so I could see your smile." The prince stated as he held his fiancée in his arms. "If you'd like, I could ask my knight over there to send my gifts to you everyday."
"No need," Her cresent shaped eyebrows inclined slightly, "I'm just pleased that you've gifted me things I love." She gave the prince a warm, courteous smile with her lilac soft lips.
They embraced, surrounded by the maze of roses under an orange-coloured sky.
Her charming smile was quickly engraved within my heart- for I knew she could never look at me that way. I stood silently- fearing my pounding heart could be heard by them.
The prince gave me a content smile and gestured for me to leave.
I quickly stole a glance at the familiar blonde hair dancing in the wind, tightening the grip on my sword as I walked away.
I had always remembered it-
Lavender.
