I have been brave enough
Opened my heart to people
heard it makes things better
Brings happiness in your life .
Than why everything I feel
Makes me cry .
I have been persistent enough
Tried again and again
To make bonds
Heard you gotta put effort into relationships
It makes them stronger
Than why do I feel
So lonely .
I have been kind enough
Heard what you give is what you receive
That everyone gets their karma
Than why people hurt me
Again and again .
I have been religious enough
Heard praying from your heart
Solves your problems
That God listens to your prayers
Than why I have been praying for years
With no result .
I have been hopeful enough
Heard that things get better some day
Life is not so bad everyday
Than why as I grow
It gets worse and worse .
