We arrive at the Baxter Building in police cars. I exit the police car that we arrived in and I look around. There are gates to protect us from being mobbed by fans and reporters who have recently seen the whole thing on telivision. I see streams of people who seem to go around the block.

I walk up and practically hide behind Ben.

Seriously why do people have to care about our lives. Why do people have to know where we live?

Johnny yanks my arm and I stumble out from behind Ben and into Johnny. Right now I wish I could punch him in the face, my hand itches for it, it craves for that moment. My fists clench and Johnny leans down to whisper into my ear.

"Hey calm down. Have some fun!" I send a glare to him. Then I feel a small pair or arms wrap around my legs.

I look down to see a small girl around the age of six or seven look up at me with searing blue eyes and dirty blonde hair. Her height is about up to my hip and she looks up at me with awe written on her eyes.

"I love you!" she smiles up at me and I get down on one knee next to her so I am her height or around it.

"I love you too!" I say. "Do you want an angel hug?" I ask her and she nods vigoriously. I pull my wings out and wrap them around her into a hug. A wave of awws go through the crowd as they see the hug between me and the little girl.

"I want to be a hero like you!" I unwrap my wings from her and look her in the eye.

"You don't need powers to be a hero. You need a heart, soul, bravery and most of all you need to know right from wrong. You don't need to be super strong or catch into flames. Just help people who need it and you're a hero in their eyes." She nods and I wrap my arms around her in another hug. She then turns to go, but stops.

"Thank you!" she says to me and I smile down at her.

"No thank you!" she smiles. "Now go find your parents." I laugh and ruffler her hair, she giggles and I stand up from my position on my knee.

I look around to see Johnny staring at me. I look away from his gaze and walk into the Baxter Building after catching a glimpse of the girl and her parents and they were all smiling widely. They're looking at their phone, so they must've taken a photo.

We all walk in and I see Reed get his mail. I see Overdue and what not on around all of them. I frown at them. Sue looks at them and I can't help, but feel ashamed. We shouldn't be in this prediciment. Alot of people already know of our problem.

"We had a tough year." Reed says to Sue.

"More like nine straight." Ben says as he walks into the elevator. We walk into the elevator.

"Scar that was adorable what happened outside." Sue says and I smile at the thought of the little girl.

"Well she was adorable. I love kids. They wear you out but there is so much adorable about them!" I can't keep my smile to myself. We press the button to go up to the part of the building Reed and I have and then suddenly the elevator stops almost as we begin.

Exceed maximum weight

I growl at it and clench my hands. I look at Ben and he has a sorrowful expression on his face. I look at down at the ground. This must be horrible for him.

"I'll take the stairs." He steps out I look at him for a second and right before the doors close, I jump out and hear a loud protest from Reed before the doors close right after.

"You didn't have to do that." Ben says as we walk towards the stairwell.

"I need the exercise anyway." I shrug. I begin walking up the stairs with Ben right next to me. The only sound we heard is the sound of his steps pounding up the stairs as he begin walking the flights.
