*Arabella's POV*

I make sure Angie is in bed before I head out, I stop outside of the room and lean against the wall. I'm so worried about her, I wish I could just make everything better but sadly I can't. I couldn't stop our father from killing him. From killing my nephew. Killing Angelica's innocent...Ezekiel. Even now it's hard to think his name, let alone say it. I'm almost in tears before I straighten myself out and walk downstairs to be with the others. I see everyone, including the wolfie mate of the little half vampire. "Angelica is in bed and she's probably not gonna come back out until morning. I also wouldn't ask about why she's upset if I were any of you, you've already seen that she has no filter for her mouth but she also has no filter for her powers. More so when she's hurt." Everyone gives me a sad, but at the same time knowing, look.

"You know, she is happy at some point. Not sure exactly when but she does." I look at Alice, with a smile on my face. "Thank you, it means a lot to me." She smiles back, her putting me slightly more at ease. I'm still probably not gonna sleep tonight, although it's not that rare. I haven't been able to have that good of a nights sleep the past six centuries. Normally I'd make a potion so pass the time, but I don't think that the Cullen's would appreciate that much. There is always a slight chance of a potion blowing up. That's why I've always loved it so much, ever since I was able to make my first one. Angie has always loved the more hand free incantations, while I'm more of the potions girl. Which actually reminded me of something.

"So when you go onto your next hunt, would you mind bringing back the heart of a doe?? It's the last ingredient for the potion I want to brew." Carlisle gives a small laugh at this, it's nice to hear since it's been so long. He was a good friend of mine, before Angie and his falling out. "I almost forgot about your obsession with them, no doubt you have at least a hundred new books on potions alone from the last time I saw you. I'll make sure to come back with one Ara." I smile at him, grateful. This potion is very important for me, and without that heart then it'll surely fail.

At this moment it's practically midnight, the world outside covered in darkness, my favorite times. It's also calming. "Do you guys have any food in this house or is the kitchen just collecting dust??" They all laugh, Esme, stepping up and talking for once. I think she's wary of Angie, but then again who wouldn't be?? "There's been more food in there now more than ever, Jacob's pack and Renesmee do need food. I could show you the kitchen if you want??" It makes me sad that Angie doesn't like her, she really is sweet and I see how happy Carlisle is. I nod my head, suddenly starving and wanting something small, Angie is the one who conjures food lazily while I indulge in cooking. I follow Esme to the kitchen, well aware of the little emotion reader trailing behind.

"You and Angelica can help yourselves to anything in the house. We really hope you can feel comfortable enough to call this a home, both of you." After that, she leaves and it's just Jasper and me look in the fridge for something, settling on a green apple. I turn around and he's right behind me, a small smirk playing at his lips as he slowly makes his way towards me. I bite into my apple, trying to not smile at him as I know that is his goal. "Darlin', you have something right there." He's as close as he has ever been as he wipes the apple water away, staring in my eyes. How can someone make something this simple sound so goddamn romantic, he's literally wiping juice from my chin and my heart is racing? This is bullshit.

I make a small smirk as I bite into my apple again, knowing I'll have some juice from it on my chin again. His smirks grow wider as he wipes it away again, and this time he moves his head a little closer. My breath almost hitches as I try my best to not look down at his lips, failing in the end as my hopeless romantic side starts to come out. Eddie, I hope your not listening cause damn I'm gonna be thinking about kissing Jasper for the next millennia. He's slowly creeping his way forward as I realize I'm doing the same, although he seems a little hesitant. At this point, everyone in the house knows that my heart is racing a million miles a second, with goosebumps rise all over due to his hand on my cheek.

"Hey Arabella, are there any-" Of all the times that Renesmee could walk into the kitchen, she chooses now. I quickly look over to her and compose myself, although the heat I feel climbing its way onto my neck and face is uncontrollable. "Yes, dear??" Jasper moves away a little bit, now leaning against the counter and not in front of me. "Um, I was going to ask if there are any potions that nonwitches could make, but I'll just leave you and Uncle Jasper alone." The blush goes hotter and more than likely darker, as I shake my head. "Of course there are, there's not that any but most include blood. I'm sure if Eddie and Bella are ok with it then I could teach you the one I'm making next." She smiles and gives me a hug, taken aback for a moment I soon hug her back gently. It's been quite a while since I've hugged a little one. She soon thanks me and leaves the kitchen, Jasper chuckling soon after.

I glare at him playfully, before a smile cracks upon my face. I really hope Angie can give Paul a chance, she needs to be happy...somewhat like I am right now. I finish my apple, Jasper and I decided to talk in the living room until Angie wakes up. Taking in everything I can about him as we talk, I can't help but feel content and surprisingly for me calm. It's a few hours before I here Angie turn on the shower. I stand up and talk to Jasper, waiting to see my sister and make sure she's ok. Although I am nice my sister soon surprises me with my milkshake. I look at her, she's sad still but she's putting up her strong front. After a small little 'discussion' with Angie, still leaning on Jasper, then I transport her to wherever Paul is. I can feel Jasper's chest vibrate as he chuckles although that stops soon when Alice shouts something and we are both drenched in water. "I am definitely getting her back when she comes home from her date." Going upstairs I just change into comfy clothes and grabbing a book on spirit animals. I meet Jasper downstairs, seeing him in comfy clothes as well, and we head into a room with a comfy looking couch. This room looks like my heaven. "Lay with me while I read." Grabbing his hand I lead him towards the couch and lay down with him, getting into a comfortable position. He decides to take my book and read to me, his voice soon becoming something I'd never want to live without.
