Killing OCs: Killing yourself without being suicidal.

417 is the universe where the OCs die in place of their S.O.s cause, in case you forgot, all three of them have love interests that die in the movie.

What? There are other OCs rather than just Olivia??

Yeah, I know, a lot of my dimensions are variants of her, but I try to diversify it. And she's my OC, so I get some wiggle room because I know her best.

Anyways, it's a complete swap. Carson gets snapped away, Maya gets snapped away, and Olivia gets snapped... Quite literally.

(I'm so sorry, that's an awful joke. I hate joking about it in general, it just happens).

Thanos murders Olivia in cold blood because it's his way of taking revenge for New York. Remember what The Other said to Loki: "You think you know pain? He will make you long for something as sweet as pain."

And what's worse than Loki dying?

The light (one might say his.... sunshine.... God, someone stop me, please.....) and love of his life dying for his failures. The "debt repaid" as I put it.

Maya and Carson are simpler. The Snap is allegedly randomized. 50% dies and 50% lives. It's just a matter of two groups of people switching spots.

Carson takes Bucky's place (the first one to fall victim to the Snap as far as we see).

Maya takes Peter's place (the last one to fall victim to the Snap as far as we see.)

Oh, and it's more tragic because Peter can sense Maya's fading heartbeat as she dusts, like he does for Tony in Endgame.

Also, speaking of, now Loki, Peter, and Bucky are part of the time heist.

Was this multiverse just a big excuse for me to imagine the three of them in Quantum Suits?

I'll never tell.

(But, for real, Loki wearing that suit with that big old Avengers A logo on it... *chef's kiss*)

***

This multiverse hinges upon mostly the OCs being either in the wrong place at the wrong time, or on the wrong side of the 50%.

Not a lot to really say about odds or other events.

***

The last three are in tandem with each other in a way. They have to exist separately, but it's the same basic concept across all three.
