Teenagers dying for Infinity Stones! What wholesome content!
I'm lying, obviously.
Maya's death is different in a sense that it's not really meant to parallel Nat's death.
Rather, it's meant to parallel Gwen Stacey's death of whiplash in one of the old Spider-Man movies (I couldn't name it with a gun to my head).
Obviously, the impact on the ground kills Maya, but Peter tries to stop it with his web shooters. It sort of forms a web blanket over Maya's body, but it's VERY similar to how Gwen went out.
In Valhalla, Maya gets to see a cousin who served in the military. He brought down his plane on an enemy base, saving tons of lives.
Wholesome content, despite the context.
