That day I should have taken his advice and not tempted his beast but I think it was too late for me to take precautions because I had already tempted his beast.

I stayed like that on the floor until I felt a little good. Then I went back to my locker room to collect all my belongings. When I was done with putting my hoodie back on my body I headed back to my apartment with an exhausted body and mind. Entering my apartment I went directly to my bathroom while throwing my bag on the couch to take a relaxing bath to soothe my exhausted muscles.

I filled my bathtub with warm water and added a bath bomb with a mild smell and healing bath salt in it. I stripped out of my hoodie and gym clothes and dipped my body into warm water. A satisfactory hiss left out of my mouth when warm water touched my little sore arms and knuckles.

I stayed in the bathtub for a good twenty minutes with closed eyes. I opened my eyes when I heard the ringing noise on my cell phone. I stepped out of the bathtub and dried my body with a towel. I left my hair open to air dry. I didn't have any items of clothing except a bathrobe. I tied it around my naked body and came out. My phone again started ringing. Taking it I saw Jane was video calling.

"Hello," I tried not to say it with my little stressed voice with a smile.

"Are you ok" was the first thing she asked, listening to my voice and looking at my stressed smile.

"Yes I'm fine," I said, trying to distract her from my worries.

"No, I know you. You are not telling me the truth. What's wrong?" she asked in her worried voice with a scowl on her beautiful face.

"Nothing, I'm just tired," I tried to convince her with my carefree voice and smile.

"Are you telling me the truth, Nina Rogers?" she asked in her warning tone and narrowed eyes.

"Yes, mother. Now if you are done with all your questions then please tell me why are you video calling so late" I said in my teasing voice and smile.

I heard her breathing out in relief after looking at my face. "I saw the news so when will you get the flight back home," she asked in her calm tone.

"Maybe after three days if the weather is cleared" I replied to her while lying on my bed and holding the phone in front of my face. My little wet hair spread all over the pillow

"God why this storm has to come now. I waited for a whole year and now I have to wait for three more days to meet you" she said in annoyance. I didn't let her come here to meet me for the whole year.

"Don't worry. Three days will be over in the blink of an eye" I said to calm her down while looking at her face but her eyes were narrowed and looking at something on my face.

"Nina is that hickey on your neck," she asked in a teasing voice. I immediately lifted my hand and covered my neck where his mark was shining bright. "Is that why you are tired?" she asked with a mischievous smile.

"No, it's not. Some bug must have entered the room when I opened the window" I said in my little nervous voice not letting her see through my lies.

"Oh it's a bug with big teeth," she said with the same teasing voice not believing my words. "So who is this bug," she asked with mischievous eyes.

"You know I don't have any in my life. So I have decided when I come back we will go partying and maybe we will meet some nice guys over there," I said in my excited voice trying to distract her from the topic. It is very hard to convince your best friends because they see directly through our lies.
