Season 3 Episode 4: Pie Bomb

I'm back! I'm still not fully recovered but at least I can type now. Just a few more days to go then I'll be back in full recovery and in shape. Lesson learned... Watch where you step! I despise stairs now. You have no idea how much I hate stairs now.

A scene was set off where Eggman seems to be in another feral fight where his foes were dealing with his beebots. He had planned another diabolical scheme. "Witness my wrath, you filthy pests!" Eggman shouted, pressing a button on his wrist. Cowbot appeared out of the blue, equipped with a new built in upgrade but this didn't appeal to the gang. They stood there, laughing. "Seriously!? Cowbot again"  Sonic covered his mouth trying hard to to laugh but came out as 'Pfft' sound. "It's not funny!" Eggman scolded, banging his fist on his flying vehicle. "This time Cowbot is more efficient now than before"! "Cowbot, show them what you're made of!".  

Cowbot opened it's upper body storage component, dispersing small sphere shaped bombs spewing across the blue sky falling downwards in certain places. Amy whacked a couple of bombs into the sky, preventing from any bombs from reaching the ground. With the help with Sonic, he whipped himself upwards doing the same thing along with the others. In that process, a bomb might've triggered in mid air where Eggman seems to be occupied. Sadly, no escaped now. Before the the bomb flashed, Eggman muttered 'Oh no'. The smoke spewed around Eggman, mildly damaging his Eggmobile. Instantly, Knuckles threw to what seems like the remaining bomb, he threw it to Cowbot and the beebots making them explode. What's left of the robots is piles of scrap metal and ashes. "Gah!" Eggman threw his tantrum, slamming his fist onto the his control panel causing his Eggmobile to corrupt it's mainframe. "I'll be baaaack!" Eggman yelled as his Eggmobile uncontrollably sended him over the horizon.

"Well... that's token care of..." Sonic landed, dusted himself off.

On their way to Meh burger, Sonic and his friends were quite pooped (not literally)
from their previous hardships. There was a tough crowd for some reason, crowding in around the fast food restaurant. What they could see through is the Mayor discussing to his people. In between, the crowd murmurs and whispers in silence that the gang can't hear. "Attention!" The Mayor announced getting his people to heed his call. "Today I'm hosting a..."

*Dramatic pause*

The citizens felt awkward, waiting for what seems for a quite long period of time for the Mayor to spill the beans. "A... Pie Eating contest so that I'll raise enough money to disperse it to the orphanage" the Mayor flung his arms up in the air with enthusiasm. From behind the background, Dave didn't seem not all happy about it. He wants his customers to come by to order his food and earn attention. Constantly wiping his desk with envy.

"All qualified participants welcome to eat a mountain supply off pies until the time runs out and when it does, I'll be checking to whomever has the least number of pies on their table, thus automatically assumed to be the winner" The mayor explains, pacing back and forth, carelessly showing off his body language "The winner will receive amazing prizes... so... Who would like to join?" That's when everyone gone silent. All they could hear is the awkward fake coughs or probably crickets screeching. Into this anticipation, nobody had the guts to enter this event. On the other hand, Knuckles was gleefully excited about this event. He imagined himself gnawing onto pieces of pies till he can no longer stuff any more pie into his belly. His subconscious subsided when he was about to take another bite out of a pie but instead bit his own tongue causing him to flinch in pain flinging his arms out. All was just dream. That bring attention to the crowd including the Mayor .  "Good Knuckles, you're in!" Mayor pointed out, assuming that he's willing to participate. To what surprised the gang , Sticks was willing to commit to the adversary too. She raised her hand, waving her arms to bring  attention upon herself. "Okay then...  your in too" The Mayor awkwardly pointed out to the badger.
