I roll out of bed as my alarm clock goes off, signaling the start of my first day at WCU , it's 6:00 am and classes starts 8 o'clock,
Wanting to be early for my first day especially because I am new to the campus and I don't want to get lost. I lay out my clothes for today, that was picked out from yesterday , and stroll down the hall to the bathroom, a knot grows in my check with each step to the bathroom showing how nervous I am about today.
I quickly took off my clothes and step in the shower , I turned the tap on and the water comes out too force hitting and stinging on my chest, I quickly turned down the water and lazily washed my body as the warm water relaxes my strained muscles. in less than twenty minutes I finish showering and rapped myself in a soft white towel and do the same to my wet hair.
I made my way back to my room to get dress, I sit down in front of my dresser as soon as I got back and started to blow dry my hair, after its completely dry I style my hair in a low ponytail and did light makeup,
I got dressed in a pair of dark colored jeans that hugged my curves it even made my butt look bigger as I examine myself in the mirror , I pulled down a mustard off the shoulder blouse and put on a pair of flats . I grab my bag and stuffed a black cardigan in to accommodate the chilly weather out today, ensuring I have all I needed I and walked down stairs to get breakfast before heading out,
The scent of freshly brewed coffee and french toss filled the my nostril as I entered the kitchen. My mom is having a cup of coffee while finishing up breakfast, I walked over to her she doesn't even notice as her back is turned while making eggs on the stove,
"Morning mom" I said in a cherpy tone,
she turns to face me holding a spatula in her hand
" Morning Em, your up early and all ready for your first day "
she said with a smile.
"Well I really don't want to get lost on my first day , so I'll have some breakfast and head out its 7 o'clock already " ,
she glance up at the clock and stared to prepare me a plate , she places it on the island and I took a seat,
"hmm this is really good mom" I said with my mouth half full ,
"when Jessi decides to wake up tell her we will hang later ."
I finish my breakfast in the next five minutes, I hugged my mom an walked out the front door.
