Chapter 7: Fighting Talk

Hyousuku/Six

Hyousuku gazes out the window, thinking to himself. Life was strange at the moment. He was in school. Tell him this a year ago and he would have given whoever told him a funny look. Anyway, he couldn't lie though, he enjoyed this life. It was a massive change for the Spartan, civilian life. Having complete freedom, being able to relax and not having to kill anyone or anything. That last part Hyousuku was happiest about, he had never liked killing other people but the Covenant? They were a different matter entirely.

The pondering Spartan is brought out of his thought by a tap on his shoulder. He quickly regains his sense of his surroundings. He's in homeroom, at the back of the room, at his desk by the window. He had been put here by Aizawa the day after the Quirk Assessment test due to a lack of space elsewhere. After realising where he was, he looks up to the person who tapped him.

"Iida"

The robotic-like boy looks down at Hyousuku with a serious expression. He clears his throat before speaking.

"Hello, Hyousuku, I apologize for interrupting your thoughts but I've come to inform you that class is about to start," He said, his face staying stoic "You seemed to be thinking and hadn't realized"

"Thanks, Iida, I hadn't realized" Hyousuku replies sincerely "I owe you one"

Iida nods and walks away to his seat. The Spartan reaches down into his duffle bag and pulls out a book, putting it on a table. Church appears on top of the book, looking up at the man.

"You do realise we have Hero Training right?"

"And?"

"With All Might... Do you think a man like that can grasp the concept of theoretical work?"

"Can you?" Hyousuku counters. Church seems to roll his eyes under the armour.

"Ha, ha, ha, You're so funny" Church replies humourlessly, avoiding the question.

"I. AM. HERE" All Might shouts from the other side of the door, stopping all conversations in its track. "Coming through the door like a hero!" He shouts once more, bursting through the door... Like a hero. Gaining everyone's attention

The class erupts into chatter. Almost every student is surprised and happy at the revelation of All Might being their Heroics teacher. Some make comments on his costume while other verbally express their excitement. All Might takes his place on the podium, he very present smile plastered on his face.

"Welcome to the most important class at U.A High! Think it as heroing 101! Here you will learn the basic of being a Pro! And fight in the name of good!" All Might said, dramatically flexing "And this lesson will pull on punches!" All Might shouts, holding up a small card the read: BATTLE!!!

Hyousuku tenses up. Fighting, he had been hoping to avoid this. Other students, on the other hand, seems excited to prove themselves as heroes. Bakugou seeming the most excited shouting out. Compared to a nervous Izuku who seems not wanting to fight.

"But one of the keys to being a hero is!" All Might points over to a wall "Looking good!" The wall then brings out a row of compartments with suitcased, numbers drawn onto the side. "These were designed for you based on your Quirk registration forms and the request you sent in before school started!"

"Guess we can finally use the armour eh?" Church asks.

"Yeah..." Hyousuku says, not completely with the idea.

"Get yourselves suited up and meet me in Training Ground Beta!"
