-Hunter's POV-
I stand under the tree.The same tree the authorities hung my father without trial for murdering three.I hear a stick crack and I look up.Ashlynn stands there,the moonlight making her skin and hair glow as she shivers in her blue winter coat."Hey Hunter."Ashlynn says shivering.I check my phone and it's midnight exactly.I also see Holly called.Ashlynn comes closer."Why aren't you talking to me?"Ashlynn says,sadly."If you want to call Holly,it's fine with me."Ashlynn yawns sitting on a log.I call her as she said."Hunter,where the fuck are you,you better not be with Ashlynn."Holly yells.I stay silent as I glance at Ashlynn on her phone."Dex,I'll be home soon okay.I love you too."Ashlynn whispers in to her phone and hangs up.I realize under her coat,she is wearing a knee-length nightgown."Hunter,you better come home now! I will never let you see that bitch again!"Holly shouts."She is not a bitch and fine."I scream.Ashlynn looks up and I tell her I have to leave.Ashlynn hugs me and kisses my cheek.She walks away quickly and I stand alone under the offending tree.
*Ashlynn's POV*
I look up the hanging tree lyrivcs and listen to it as I sleep on Dexter's arm.Two lyrics stand out.If we met at midnight in the hanging tree and a dead man called for his love to flee.I met Hunter at midnight in the hanging tree and when someone went after me he told me to run.Shit.I was living the song.Creepy.
