I understand that you are in major pain,
And all that sadness is damaging your brain.
I understand that you think you will never heal,
And you think no one apprehends how you feel.
I understand that sometimes you just want to die,
And you think none can hear you when you cry.
I understand you feel so alone and out of place,
And sometimes you just need your own space.
I understand that it seems your heart is sinking,
And you keep hurting yourself by over-thinking.
I understand at times you need someone there,
And even still it feels like none seemed to care.
I understand you are stressed and oh so tired,
And from this life you just want to be retired.
I understand you all, I've been there as well,
And I know it feels like being trapped in a cell.
I need you to understand that it will be okay,
And I will be here for you every step of the way.
