You promised to never make me feel lonely,
You promised to make me your one & only.
You promised to love me when I was sad,
You promised to care even if I was mad.
You promised to respect what I'm feeling,
You promised to help me with my healing.
You promised to guide me away to the light,
You promised to always put me in your sight.
You promised to wipe my tears when I cry,
You promised to never tell me a single lie.
You promised to never break your promise,
I knew from the start, you weren't honest.
