After a while of a long, awkward conversation with Lucy, she walked back to her mother. I walked back to the barn. All of the horses were freaking out.
"Calm down. I'm here, you psychos." I said.
Dream was the first one to stop. Soon Buck stopped next. For some reason Star didn't stop. I walked to his stall, shushing him. He calmed down a little bit. I wanted to ride Dream so I hopped on her and we ran to the field with the pond. For some reason, she stopped quickly. I fell off of her. She didn't even make a slight movement.
"Ow! Why does this keep happening today?" I asked looking up, "Dream!"
I stood up and followed her gaze to Lucy and her mom watching us.
"That was some good riding there." her mom said. She looked just like Lucy, but she had a heavy southern accent. Why won't these people leave me alone?
"Thanks." I said, getting back on Dream. I could get on Dream easily since she was only 15.02hh and I was 5'4".
"Well I guess we'll be seeing you." Said the mom again as she walked away. I need to be more careful. Lucy and her mom can't know who I really am. I can't be found.
