Miracle decided to leave the situation alone, but the more she stared at Jax was the more she became aggravated. He was asking her to marry him and he was still lying as if though she was slow. She knew that Jax found her sexually attractive because she found him attractive too, but she knew he had no love for her. Fascination? Yes. Love? NO. So why lie?

"What do you take me as? An idiot?" Miracle asked as she hopped off the counter.

She walked out the kitchen with Jax hot on her tail.  "I ain't dumb. We both know there's more to this than your to letting on. So it's either you tell me now or, so help you God when I find out" She said stopping in her tracks.  She turned around and faced him with her arms folded over her shoulder. She wanted the truth and she wanted it now.

"First, don't you never and I mean never threaten me again. Second, if the truth you want then the truth you shall be told." He said running his hands through his hair. " After we had went to the movies my father called me and told me that he needed to see me." Jax said.

"Okay, keep it going." Miracle said taking a seat.

"Let me just cut this shit short. My father said I won't inherit the family business if I don't get married in a month." He said rubbing his temple. He could already feel the massive headache coming on from all of the questions and smart remarks Miracle was going to say.

"Is ya father dumb? How does he expect you to find a wife trust worthy enough to help you run a business in a month? Second, don't you already have a wife? What's her name.... Samantha?" Miracle said as she tried to wrap her head around all this.

'I knew I should've stick within my race' she thought to herself.

Never in a million years did she think she would be hearing something like this. It felt like it was from something out of a movie.
