He hurt you, she hurt you, they hurt you and so did them...
It's all you ever see.
He abandoned you, she broke your heart, they used you.... and them... they exploited you.
He manipulated you, she caused so much pain you resorted to drink, they got what they wanted from you, they used your status to make them look good.
Then you remember the others....
He raped you, he groomed you, he used you to experiment, he used you to get off.
They verbally abused you, they physically abused you, they put you in difficult situations at a young age and emotionally attacked you no matter which decision you made.
It's all you ever see.
That person is like that, that stranger does this bad thing, this stranger is manipulative. This friend uses people, and this one uses secrets against everyone.
After everything that has happened,
All you ever see,
Is the bad and cruel sides to everyone and everything.
But then someone reminds you that the world isn't all bad.
This random person, bought a stranger sleeping on the streets a meal and a cup of tea.
This one helped an old lady who fell in the streets.
That one helped a drunk, young girl to the hospital.
That person talked someone out of suicide.
Maybe the world isn't so bad after all....
