LETTERS TO SHIK 1
February 23, 2013Hi, Shik!
May kalakihan yung bahay nila ha! Malamang may moo-moo nga.Yung boss ko kasi dati, may life size samurai statue (hindi yung sword kundi yung Japanese soldier) sa bahay nila sa Tierra Pura, which also happens to be the preschool. Tabi nung classroom ko yung receiving area nung bahay, tapos a glass door separates my classroom and the sala. Nandun sa sala yung antique samurai statue.
Every now and then, sumisilip yung isang estudyante ko sa sala. Week after week, yun yung sabi nung student ko - merong yellow furry man with a green shirt sa sala.
Many months forward, nung nagkaroon ng maraming aksidente among the students sa school, pumayag itong boss ko na kumuha ng pastor to do warfare prayers around the place. So isinama ko si Pastor Tyre doon, kasama yung prayer team of 3 people (a seer, a hearer, and a feeler).
(This is a story for another day, pero balik muna tayo dun sa samurai statue.)
Sagot nung classmate ko, "Hindi ko sure. Iba kasi yung kulay nung nasa playground at nung nasa glass door. I asked kung anong kulay?
Anyways, nilibot nina Pastor Tyre at nung team niya yung classrooms. At sa bawat classroom may either naririnig o nakikita yung prayer team, which nakikita na nung mga students the past months and even the past years. When they finally got to the sala, nakita nung team yung samurai, sabay nagbubulong-bulungan sila. I have a reason to believe that the yellow furry man in green shirt has something to do with the samurai statue.
Converted in peso, 300 thousand."
That was around 2001 or 2002, but the antique samurai statue was bought way before I worked with them. Pastor Tyre explained that antiques sometimes have certain spirits, especially if the antique had been used in a ritual or has been dedicated in an occult ceremony. It would be better to destroy such antiques. But, of course, it is entirely the owner's discretion to destroy it or not. Three hundred thousand is even a huge amount right now, ano pa kaya nung panahong binili yung statue? In short, the statue stayed in the sala.
So, going back sa Chinese stuff sa bahay nina Ryan, na may moo-moo according to his pamangkin, dapat basagin at itapon. Pero hindi naman yun sa iyo. So wala kang choice kundi hintayin na may mangyari munang freaky so they will get rid of it.
Mawi-weirduhan kasi sila if you volunteer the information, tapos walang readiness sa hearts nila to receive it. Hehehe.Pray ka na lang for an opportunity to tell them. Usually, kailangan may mangyari munang masama or, at least, freaky sa bahay nila.
