Just going over the basics again for anyone that needs them! Sorry about the wait on updates! I'll be back in business soon! Enjoy!

After getting back home, showering, and getting into your pajamas, you grabbed your phone and opened your texts to the last conversation you had with Joey a few days ago. He had been asking to borrow your homework to copy for school, and of course you had agreed and lent it to him the next day before class. Feeling your hands begin to sweat in anticipation, you went ahead and texted him.

Hey!

Hey ___(f/n)! Was starting to think you had forgotten about me!

Sorry, I was getting ready for bed first.

It's all good! So where were you thinking of going tomorrow?

Honestly I'm not sure, I hadn't really thought it out much. Do you have any ideas?

Hmmm.... How about the amusement park? Tickets are half price for students! I went there with Yugi and the gang last year during summer break.

Okay! That sounds like it'll be super fun! I've never been to the amusement park before.

Really? You'll love it! What time works for you?

I guess noon would be best, that way I have time to get ready.

And that'll give me time to sleep in! Good call ___(n/n)! Do you wanna meet up at the park or somewhere else first?

The park entrance is fine.

Great! It's a date then!

Your heart skipped when you read that message. Did he actually mean it was a date? Or was he just saying that as a common phrase? Your fingers fumbled on the keyboard several times as you tried to respond, so it took a minute before you had corrected all the mistakes you made and sent the message.

Yeah! See you tomorrow! Goodnight Joey!

Night!

Quickly closing the texts and opening your clock app, you set an alarm on your phone for 9am. That'd give you one hour to pick out an outfit and get dressed, one hour to do your hair, and one hour to eat breakfast and get to the amusement park. Normally you only needed ten minutes to get ready in the mornings, but you were sure you'd be a nervous wreck tomorrow and need all the time you could get. Setting your phone down on your nightstand and plugging it into the charger, you grabbed your pillow and smacked your face into it multiple times, mentally screaming at yourself to calm down, repeating over and over "It's not a date it's not a date it's not a date it's not a date!" The lie doing nothing to help you, only working yourself up until the truth finally blurted out. "..... IT IS A DATE!!!" Tapping the power button on your phone, you checked the time. 10 o'clock. If you went to sleep now you'd get plenty of rest and be fully charged for your... date in the morning. Walking across the room, you flicked off the light switch and returned to your bed, curling up under the covers. You tried to get comfortable so you could fall asleep quickly, but you were far too busy worrying about everything that could possibly happen in the next twenty four hours. Oh man. What if you showed up thinking it was a date and Joey only thought you were hanging out as friends? What if you spilled something on yourself, or worse, on him?! What if you discovered you had a fear of heights and threw up on a roller coaster? You tossed and turned, using your pillow as earmuffs to try and block out all of your obnoxious thoughts. The covers suddenly felt like the most irritating material in the world. Luckily your mind was suddenly distracted when you got another text. Was it from Joey? Did you forget to plan something? Who else would be texting you this late? Without looking at the notification, you unlocked your phone and went straight to the message.
