He no longer had it in him,
He believed his star was dim,
He'd been through so much,
Numb from all the pain,
He finally gave up as such,
Wouldn't believe it was saneSitting above the water,he made a wish,
That the stars let him go,
Suddenly not too soon,
Quietly yet cautiously
A timid figure tentatively,
"Your here to vent too?"
He gave her a once-over before nodding "you?"HER
She couldn't bring herself to say,
Her monsters chased her all day,
That it was her safe haven he just invaded,
That her bottled up fears had exploded,
She couldn't sayFor in his eyes she saw her reflection,
The fact that someone else was broke and shattered,
Healed her in ways no human could,
Taking courage she approached him."You?" His voice rang in her ears.she nodded,
He sat up motioning for her to sit,
Sighing, the gesture she headed,The view from the cliff always calmed her,
Like how a puzzle the last peice fits,
The silence was replaced with nature,
As a bird sang, she uncounsiously let down her armour,
"You....is that.....you seem to be bleeding,"
Terrified:she pointed it out,
Humourless laughter:her answer,
"Yeah no kidding"She wraps his wound on her scarf,
"Don't die on my land.."
Looking back she couldn't go on,
His eyes reflected pain he'd kept ij for so long,
In a second his guard was back up,
Realizing the misshap he stood up,
Run hide do something damn it!
He turned to leave, hide his imperfections,
When she took his hand,
"Its okay not to be okay
Especially in this land,"
She squeezed his hand before leaving.Someone tell me what am doing wrong :(
