Our paths are not as similar,
Our pain brought us closer,
Perhaps it was real for both of us,
Maybe it was just me kicking a fuss,
Tell me,was it for you just a play?
Was i for you just a ladder to reach out?

We are one you always pledge,
So tell me of this deep grudge,
That now gnaws at me.

Due to never ending reasons,
I let go of everyone of your treasons,
I had hopes for our wavering bond,
That it will withstand the storm and wound,
But without a word you stood up and let go,
Your biggest treason and my biggest flaw,

Letting go doesn't amount to a book closing,
Letting go doesn't mean a chapter is ending,
Sometimes letting go means a never healing scar,
That never fades and hurts everytime it pricks,
That bleeds everytime a memory pops up,

It means a series of never ending questions,
It means a scratched rythm of normal,
It means am never enough for you,
I wish to scream and cry and blame you,
But in the end all that came out a simple thank you?

Thank you for lasting this long,
For dragging me along and making you strong,
Thank you for discerning our bond,
I like you no more,
You i no longer look upto and adore,
Thank you for raising my standards,
For enduring the broken me,
For the slight mirage of happiness,
It may have been short,
But it showed me my worth.
