Stiles' POV:

Scott and I drove to Derek's loft. Scott banged on the door and Derek answered. "What do you two want?"

"Our teacher, Ms. Blake, is the Darach," Scott explained. "She's the one taking people and sacrificing them."

With a shaky breath, I informed, "She took my dad. She almost killed Lydia and Ally."

At the mention of Ally, Derek got an angry look in his eyes. Since he bit her, he'd thought of her as a beta he had to protect, but more so as a little sister.

As if nothing else could go wrong, Ms. Blake showed up. She walked in and called, "Derek? Derek, where are you?"

"Right here," Derek answered quietly.

She hugged him and breathed, "Thank God. Something happened at the recital. At the school. Okay, I need to tell you before you hear it, before you hear any of it from them."

"From who?" Derek questioned.

"Scott, Stiles. They're gonna tell you things. Things you can't believe. You have to trust me, okay? You trust me."

"What is it?"

"Promise me you'll listen to me."

"I promise."

She kissed him and pulled back, as if realizing something was wrong. "They're already here, aren't they? So... they told you it was me? That I'm the one taking people?"

Scott and I stepped out from where we were as he said, "We told him you're the one killing people."

Ms. Blake scoffed. "Oh, that's right. Committing human sacrifices? What, cutting their throats? Yeah, I probably do it on my lunch hour. That way, I can get back to teaching high school English the of the day. That makes perfect sense."

I felt tears begin welling in my eyes and I could hardly form the words as I asked, "Where's my dad?"

Ms. Blake scoffed at me. "How should I know? Derek, tell me you don't believe this."

Derek crossed his arms. "Do you know what happened to Stiles' father?"

"No," Ms. Blake retorted.

"Ask her why she almost killed Lydia and Lyssa," Scott said pointedly.

"Lydia Martin? Alyssa Devereaux? I don't know anything about that."

"What do you know?" Derek questioned impatiently.

"I know that these boys, for whatever misguided reason, are filling your head with an absurd story. And one they can't prove, by the way."

"What if we can?" Scott asked as he held up a bottle.

"What is that?" Ms. Blake panicked in a way that made it seem like she already knew what it was.

"My boss told me it's a poison and a cure... which means you can use it... and it can be used against you."

"Mistletoe?"

Scott threw the mistletoe on her to reveal a horrific figure. A horribly scarred and bald figure. She switched back her human appearance.

Derek placed a hand around Ms. Blake's neck. Ms. Blake began pleading with him. "Derek, wait, wait! You need me."

"What are you?" Derek growled.

"The only person who can save your sister. Call Peter. Call him!"

Derek did as she told him to, and Peter answered immediately. "It's not good. She's in and out of consciousness. She's vomiting up black blood along with one other alarming substance."
