Elzie looked around the room and called quietly into the dimmed room. She opened the door a bit more before realizing that nothing was in the room. She assumed it had been cleaned and decided to check the castle. She took a deep breath and sighed before turning to leave the room. She went outside and closed the door behind her as she turned into the alley next to the room to hide so she didn't have to kill any more guards.
She looked both ways then used her long sharp claws to climb the tree to hide. There was another bridge up ahead and she saw more guards than at the last one. She noticed the next tree was a little closer then the tree she was in. She saw a couple trees she could use to continue going along to take down the guards from above. She hopped to the next tree and sat for thirty seconds for the guards to stop looking her way. When they stopped she continued to the next one then the next. I took her ten minutes to reach the tree next to the bridge and she was very tired. She couldn’t wait for the guards to look up and catch her so she hopped down right onto their heads, pinning one and accidentally knocking one of other ones into the void with her long tail.
The last two guards ran at her with their curved spears. One missed her and the other grazed her ear. She bit one of the guards legs while she hit the other into the void with her tail on purpose this time. She pulled the last guard she had in her teeth to the other side of the bridge then went to the edge then dropped him. She climbed into the only tree on the kings island and hid until the guards were done searching for her. She leaped down the first chance she got and slipped into the castle. She turned back to her human form and looked around at how greedy the king really was. She saw gold and diamonds everywhere, his throne was on top of piles of coins and gems. Every pillar in the room had his face carved in them. Each with a different expression but there was not one with a smile or a happy one.
The walls had cracks in them but they were filled with lava. His throne was made of the finest wood and black fabric in all of the three kingdoms. There were eight pillars in all and all lead to the throne, all of his face pillars seemed to be staring at her. She then noticed someone sitting in the throne and she quickly turned back into a hellhound and dove behind a pillar.
“Who comes to the castle?” A small voice asked but definitely wasn’t the king “I am Prince Otis or Princess Bailey"
Elzie thought it was weird that the prince or princess or whoever they were had two names. She came out from behind the pillar. “H-hi. M-my names Elzie a-and i'm looking for the captain of the guards daughter ”Oh, how disappointing, I wish someone would come to see me every once in a while she said frowning. “U-um y-you could come with us" Elzie said timidly.“I would but my fa-” Elzie cut her off before she could finish “Who cares what your stupid greedy father thinks!” Elzie blurted out. “But I-” Elzie cut her off again “Are you coming or not?’
Princess bailey looked towards the doors on either side of the throne. “Fine but we must hurry, I know where the captain's daughter is.” She said getting off the throne and grabbing her crystal butterfly.
