'Myrina, please sweetheart. Just go to sleep. You've been up since five in the morning. Aren't you tired?' In response, the little winged baby started crying even louder. It was two in the morning, and they hadn't slept yet. Feyre had fed her, rocked her in her arms, but to no avail. An hour ago, her husband had taken over, but even in his arms she wouldn't stop. Feyre sat right up in bed, tired but unable to sleep. 'Rhys, maybe we should place her in between us, in the bed?' Her mate turned around, dark circles under his beautiful violet eyes. 'We could try, ma-'A knock on the door interrupted their conversation, and they both looked at the door, which opened a little. 'Come on in,' Feyre said. The general walked in, his eyes searching for Myrina immediately. 'I heard her cry.' Rhys rolled his eyes. 'No, you think?' 'Cranky I see,' Cass said with a half smile. He stalked to the bed. 'I'll take her for tonight, so you two can have some proper sleep.' Feyre saw how his hazel eyes searched hers. 'That would be amazing Cass.' She saw how his face lit up as he walked towards the little lady and caressed her cheek. 'Hey little trouble maker,' he mumbled. Rhys carefully placed her in Cass's arms and kissed her little forehead. 'Sleep well, my angel.' He walked towards the bed, and when Cass was almost out of the door, Rhys said: 'Thanks Cass.' Cassian smiled, cuddling Myrina. 'Anytime brother, anytime.'

'Why is your ceiling made of glass?'
Ciana lay in the massive bed, her head on Brion's hard chest. She heard his steady and comforting heartbeat, the rhythm completely in sync with hers. She felt how he stroked her arm with his fingers. Every touch leaving the fire in her body rising. 'Because I love the night sky, and everything in it. I love the endless dark, it makes me feel like anything is possible. The stars, they represent all the hopes and dreams I have. besides, aren't they just beautiful?'
His intense blue eyes found hers, and she gulped. 'They are,' she said as he stared back. 'But mostly, I am connected to them. My power is the night, the light between stars, starlight itself. Staring at it, it makes me feel at ease.' Ciana placed her small hand on his broad chest. 'That's beautiful Brion.'
She felt how he breathed out. He got up, just a little, so he was leaning on one elbow. His eyes connected with hers, his gaze so welcoming, yet intense. It gave her goosebumps. 'What makes you feel at ease Ciana? What's something that you love with all of your being?' She sighed, a smile creeping over her face, just thinking about it. 'I love to dance,' she whispered. 'I love to dance, especially ballet. It makes me feel like I can fly, like I am my complete self.' She scanned Brion's face, saw a glimmer in his eyes. He was waiting for her to continue, as if he felt she needed to tell him more.
'Dancing makes me feel like I am the best version of myself, next to my magic. Sometimes, when I am all alone, I combine them. I wield the flames in my hands, on the edges of my dress. And when I swirl, the flames dance with me, as one.' She stared at the ceiling and sighed again. 'You're shining, when you talk about it,' Brion said, with that deep and delicious voice of him. 'I am always shining wingman,' her eyes still on the ceiling. 'That you are,' he said as his face appeared in her sight. She felt it now, his weight on her. He had crawled on top of her, his wings loosely folded on his back. 'Let's see if I can make you shine some more...'

It was a soft night tonight. The stars gleamed bright, as if welcoming the little lady in his arms. He held her tightly against his chest. He had wrapped her in a little lilac blanket and jumped off the balcony. Now, he was flying over the court. His wings flew steady and strong, not a glitch in them, never. He looked at her, his heart filling with so much love. His little niece. 'I already know you're gonna be a real pain in the ass when you hit puberty. You're a trouble maker, but a sweet one.' He chuckled as she grabbed his thumb, held it tight. The breeze blew over her small head, the few little brown hairs moving with it.
