[So sorry it took me forever to update! Thanksgiving was this week and I was really busy with school but I will try to update every week or two. Anyway, enjoy!]

As I look up at him, Damon starts to sob some more. He hastily wraps his arms around me and buries his head into the crook of my neck. I weakly rest my hands on the small of his back, my current best attempt at a hug.

"Oh Jack! I'm so glad you're ok!" Damon sobs into my neck. I just smile and nuzzle my head into his. Mmm, soft. After a few moments he pulled away to look me in the eye. "What happened? Why'd you do it?"

Do it? Do what? "What are you talking about, Damon?" I look up at him with a raised eyebrow.

He looked down at me shocked. "What do you remember, Jack?"

I thought about this for quite sometime but all I can recall of is Damon, his name and that we're close. As I told him this he frowned and sat up on the bed. "The Doctors were right...." He sighed and looked at his hands in his lap.

"What did the doctors say?" I try to sit up but the tubes and wires hooked to my chest kept me from doing so. He slowly laid me back down and softly said the words I was expecting but didn't want to believe.

"Amnesia. You have amnesia, Jack."

I blink at him a few times before his words finally sink in. "W-why?! What happened?!" I start to panic and as I do so the heart monitor starts to beep like crazy, matching my heart beat.

Damon reaches over me and presses the call button on the wall then gets off the bed to hold my hand, rubbing calming circles on it with his thumb. "Jack calm down. If you freak out this would only hurt you more."

I start to calm down a little as a young looking, middle aged man with soft blonde hair and emerald green eyes in scrubs and a lab coat walks in the hospital room. I glance over at him and squeeze Damon's hand as the other man walks over to us.

He smiles. "Hello, Jack. I'm Dr. Landfield but you can call me Gabe." Gabe walks over to the machines, my guess, to check my vitals. "How are you feeling?"

"F-fine." I mumble out softly. Damon looks over at me and runs his fingers through his blonde hair, staying silent. "Where am I?"

"Dixson Hospital. You came in here three days ago, your friend over there called 911 when he found you."

I look Damon in the eye. "You were there?" He only nods and looks down at the floor with a slight blush.

Gabe walks to the side of my bed and pats my head. "Any questions before I leave to call your parents?"

I look up at him and get straight to the point. "Why am I here?"

Gabe's smile falters and Damon squeezes my hand a little tighter. "You lost a good amount of blood from the cuts on your arms, you passed out from blood loss."

"If I passed out from blood loss, why do I have amnesia?" I look back and forth between the two, waiting for an answer.

"It's most likely psychological, the reason you got those cuts was so traumatic to you that you subconsciously erased it from your main memory." Gabe said with a slight frown.

"What's so traumatic about a few cuts?" The next words that left Damon's mouth made my blood run cold and my heart stop.

"You attempted suicide."
