"it's hard to picture life without you, time moves on, you fade away, but i'll make it through. oh, i'll make it through..."

─── 。゚☆: *. .* :☆゚. ───

over the time span of their second and third years.

katsuki watched from his desk as a group of the class girls surrounded a certain girls desk, all of them chit-chatting about what they were going to do that night for their scheduled friday night girls night in the dorm.

though he still had a small chip on his shoulder, he couldn't help but stare at the certain girl with adoration. even through all of their ill-willed interactions since their fight, he couldn't help but still have feelings for her. he knew it was absurd, but yet he found his heart swell when her eyes passed over his figure as she looked around the class.

any bit of attention from her, whether it be good or bad, was enough for him.

through the time they spent apart, he couldn't help but notice the changes she went through. she was so much more bold and confident now, unafraid to speak up for herself or anyone else, for that matter. she was so much more comfortable in her own skin now, and it made him glad that she grew to be the person he knew she could be.

even though he was proud of how social and confident she was, he couldn't help but feel alone with out her and disappointed that she didn't seem to miss him. still, he knew he couldn't let her hold him back. he wasn't in this school to make friends, but it helped having a few with him for good luck. of course, he'd never admit that to anyone in his friend group.

he knew he'd be okay without the girl. even so, he doubted that that'd be the end of their time together. there's no way you could end a friendship like there's with a snap of your fingers. no way.

___

sometimes, [y/n] couldn't get her mind off of katsuki. she couldn't deny that she missed him dearly. she knew that in life, you gain and you lose people, but ever since she lost him... she just couldn't believe it.

their level if closeness seemed as though it was gone in an instant, hardly even sparing glances towards each other ever since she shut him down that one day.

her therapist made her get a journal to write all of her emotions in it. when trying to come up with a title, the only thing she could think of was the word "untitled" as that's what her love for the boy was. untitled and unknown.

some nights, just to talk about him, she'd text todoroki sometimes, but the majority of the time she'd text mina, and they'd lay in the [h/c] girls dorm room together late at night. she'd tell the pink skinned girl all about their adventures and fondly talk about him and the memories they shared.

it hurt the pink haired girl to know that both of her ex friends missed each other so much, but were too stubborn to talk with one another. it wasn't her place to say anything though, so she just kept her mouth shut.

the girl who was so close with the hot headed boy knew she'd eventually be okay without him, but it just left a hole in her heart that he wasn't there for her to bug and text whenever anymore.

even though she saw the way he still looked at her, she felt as though it was too late to repair anything between the two of them.

she missed him.

he missed her.

both so unaware of each others feelings.
