The date

By the time I raced up stairs anxiety started to kick in. I started to realize I was going on a date with someone who worked out at my friend gym. He was good friends with Andrea and he spotted me in a group picture as a screen saver on her phone. I thought out of all of us why me, you could of went for Andrea, herself or mandy. But no me. I stopped wondering and got prepared to shower. I thought long and hard in that shower on what to wear, how to act , what to say. Couldn't let my mind get the best of me. I hopped out the shower and walked straight to the closet. I decided to wear some black ripped jeans with fishnet stockings underneath,my shirt was marilyn Manson. To finish it off I added a biker jacket with a few pins pinned on the breast. Next I did some makeup with a basic look the only thing that was dramatic was my lashes and mascara. I didnt want to over do it and scare him. I didn't think I could scare a ripped dude with the name Tobias. Might give him the name Tabasco. I texted him I'll be there in 15. He texted a kissy face.

I took a shot of the elixir to calm me. It had kicked in on the drive there. I walked in the restaurant. The name was Delicious Bites. I kind of thought that was funny. Delicious bites!. I chuckled a bit because he choose an odd restaurant. The host greets "good after mademoiselle do you have reservations or is it a table for one?". I said " im meeting someone here so table for Tobias". He said "follow me". We walk through the reaturant all the way to this booth that had red curtains tied to the side. On the table was a bottle of the finest red wine chillin on ice in a  bucket it practically looked like blood in the bottle. Tobias stands up and greets me with a cheek kiss and hug saying "Hello beautiful". I smiled and responded "hi" all shy. I didn't expect him to do all this. He takes my coat off and hands it to me and I sit it next to me in the booth. He asked " would you like some wine I say "sure". The way he poured the wine it was as if he knew just how much to poor. The waiter immediately greeted us and asked would we like some bread and butter ,we agreed. As soon as the waiter left we looked over the menu's. As im reading in between choices I got straight to the point. "So why did you want to go on a date with me?". He smiles saying I love how Andrea tells me different stories of how she loves her friends and the times she had but you were an absolute mystery and seemed like a good girl". I say "well I guess you can say that I have no time for friends in the wee hours". He say "but you have time for me well were getting some where". The waiter comes with our bread and butter and asked are we ready. He looked at me and I looked at him. We both agreed through our eyes. So the waiter looked at me saying "for you my lady". I said " I'll take stuffed shells with the side of caesar salad and an extra side off parmesan. He ordered shrimp and scallop alfredo pasta with extra parmesan. The waiter says "coming right up". So now his attention is back on me asking me questions. He says " so, what do you do?". I mentally started panicking and blurted out " I'm a phlebotomist by day and family busines by night". He emphasized with his fingers "family business, no drug dealings I hope, but I am a dental hygienist". My face did a impressed face. He had a good job. I asked next " do you have children?". He says "no I wanted to wait after marriage". I responded "I have none yet". He smiled. Our food arrived and we enjoyed our food slowly. He says "I can do this with you often if you like". I said"yes". He asked "what's your plans for the rest of the day?". I said " gotta help my mom with the business and then close up shop". He says " I'll going home to just relax and watch some movies". I was so jealous because I had to do the bar tonight. I say "lucky you". The waiter comes with check and he looks at it and gives her his card. He was a gentlemen I expected to pay for myself. The waiter came back and gave him the check book back he signed it and took his card out leaving a tip. I get up get my coat and he comes behind me and fixes it. Than he kissed my hand and cheek. Saying "ill see you soon ". I shook my head yes and I left out before him.
