Nylah,

Did it ever seem to you how much what we had ever meant to me? How much I loved when we both spent time together like it's going to be the end of the world any time?

We were like sisters. How could you think that all I cared about was my reputation when the most precious thing that always will belong in my heart is our friendship?

Maybe the way I, I had left you like a crumpled paper when you needed me the most was what made you think like that.

And I? Well that's the only thing I regret the most.

With love,
Nels

The afternoon sunlight lits up the entire atmosphere making the dying leaves glow. The clouds float above like cotton candies almost making you want to touch them. The light golden hues during this time have always been quite mesmerising, with the sun shining bright above your head. But my thoughts keep wandering over the golden balls of honey I had crossed paths with.

I sit by the farthest seat next to the window, overlooking the school. Taking a sip of my hot chocolate, I keep wondering about him. His words and gentleness. Why would he have been there that night?

A waitress approached me asking if I require anything, and of course why would I decline. After all Laiva Bistro is famous for its spectacular chocolate filled waffles with fruits. So I ordered one.

" You can get me one of your amazing chocolate waffles. Don't forget the extra strawberries, Jaz, " I smile at her. Jasmine has been working here for as long as I became almost a regular customer. We clicked the moment she had started to rant about how annoying school was. The fact that she was two years ahead of me never registered because her heart was that kind.

" How could I? Strawberries will always be the richest with chocolate, " her chocolate brown eyes winked at me with a cheeky smile as she flipped her chestnut curls dramatically and went away. A chuckle escapes me watching her. I turn back to my sightseeing. When I notice those rich blonde curls, it almost makes me double take.

But as soon as I saw, she disappeared. The cafe door jingled its bells as a crowd of four entered, bringing in a chaos of noise with them. I smile at the source.

" There you are, Nylah. " June exclaims in her joyous voice. " We have been looking everywhere for you. "

" We? " I can't help but wonder. A brow raises involuntarily. I never took the boys to be interested.

" We? No, dear. It's all you. " Carter throws her under the bus while I hold back my laughter. Green eyes glare at him with such aggressiveness I felt bad for him. " Jaz? A mocha, please. " He calls out and takes his seat opposite to me.

" Cappuccino for me, " Ethan takes his, next to him.

" One cold latte with extra cream, " June sits next to Ethan.

" And an espresso, " Kaveh takes the seat beside me, making me scowl.

" Why are you sitting next to me, Dipshit? " Words tumble out before I could even think. But I don't regret it, I'm more proud of myself for coming up with such an amazing name.
