Nikki's p.o.v.
The doctor appointment went great! I got my stitches taken out from the surgery and they gave me stronger pain medications so it isn't painful to walk! I'm so happy! Austin is so relieved. I think he was more worried about it than I was. Anyway, we are going to the mall to celebrate! Alex and I are just waiting for Austin to get out of the shower. I walk upstairs to knock on the door, but so,etching stops me. I listen intently, and hear him singing. I listen for a while.

I giggle to myself about what song he is singing but I'm mostly amazed at how well he sings. He is unbelievably good. I'm for sure going to ask him about it later, not while we are with Alex, because I know he won't talk about it. I hear the water turn off so I quickly go back downstairs to wait with Alex. We hop into the car, and I slightly start to panic. The mall is where I was injured.
Austin p.o.v.
We get to the mall and we go into some shops. I look over at Nikki and she kind of seems spaced out so I ask if she wants to go to any specific store or if she wants some Dairy Queen or something. "Uh let's go get some dairy queen," she replies. We get closer and closer to the spot where she was injured and I glance over at Nikki to make sure she is okay. She's not. We walk closer and closer to the spot, and she starts to slow her pace down and starts breathing heavy. I stop and pull her aside. "Are you okay?" I ask, with worry in my eyes. "Yeah.. Uh... I'm fine," she replies, looking in my eyes. I wrap my arms around her shoulders and walks with her. We get closer and closer to the spot and I feel her shoulders lift up and down really fast. She stops walking completely and puts her hands on her face. She drops to her knees and starts sobbing. I quickly go down to the floor and try to pry her hands off of her face. I do, and she slowly looks up at me. "Do you want to go home?" I ask sweetly. She nods and quietly replies, "but not without my ice cream," I give her a small smile, and she returns one. I help her up and walk towards the Dairy Queen with a worried Alex. Nikki lightly smiles at him and he relaxes a bit. We get our ice cream and go home.
