I saw a firefly
and I followed it.
It brought me by the riverside
and disappeared somewhere among the vivid yellow lights.I saw an alley full of fireflies
and I stood still.
The sound of summer; the cricket cries,
and the river unreal made me sit down and think of you again tonight..
I lost a firefly.
The one that lured me tonight.
I miss her bright twinkle.
But I'm happy that the one God chose to be around her was I.
She has become a diamond in the sky now,
fulfilling wishes of her family on the ground
and I just walk away, like I had never known them.
