Maya is now about eight weeks in the whole thing and can't believe it.
She can't believe anything that is happening to her right now.
Which includes what she is doing right now.
She and Josh is sitting in his car while he is driving them to New York to tell his brother.
Since early the morning Maya has been nerves about it because of a whole lot of reasons but one because she is afraid of what Riley will think.
Not just pregnant at fourteen but with her uncle's child.
Maya can't stop thinking about it all and now that she does know how it will go she is terrified.

"Calm down. Everything is going to be fine," Josh said.
"Josh, it's your brother. Aka my teacher. I've known him since I was five and now I have to tell him I'm expecting his cousin at fourteen. That's crazy," Maya said.
"We'll be just fine," Josh said.
"And if not? What if he does go crazy?" Maya asked.
"Then I'll tell him to back off. You're safe," Josh said as he lightly put his hand on Maya's leg.

"What! You are not serious," Riley said.
"I am," Maya said.
"How on earth did you tell her she is too young then you bring the news that she's pregnant with your child?" Cory asked.
"I was also shocked when she told me. But now we have to figure out what is going to happen. It's real, guys."
"You're messed up," Cory said.
"Hey, leave him alone. We weren't together. He was drunk. Under the influence. He was at NYU. It was after I snuck out to the party and Jasmine called me. Don't know how she got my number but anyway. Guys it's not his fault. Now we have to figure out how we are gonna raise this child," Maya said.
"You know this child is probably gonna end up like you and your father did?" Cory asked and Maya's eyes immediately widened.
"Excuse me? How can you compare me to your father? Do you really think that's what I'm going to do? Like father, like daughter? I can't believe you said that," Maya said as she walked around.

"Neither can I. How on earth can you think that?" Josh asked.
"She's fourteen, Josh. How is she gonna be able to care for a baby?" Topanga asked.
"I do YouTube. For quite awhile. It's anyway not gonna matter what you think. I dropped out of high school. And no. It was not his decision. When I found out I said that's what I wanted to do to my mother," Maya said.
"And you? How are you..."
"Instead of going to college I'm going to Dad's business. I'm taking over when I finish high school next year. We've got everything figured out," Josh said.
"Don't you already work for Dad?" Cory asked.
"I am, yeah. But I'm taking over the business then. He's actually supposed to retire this year so he's gonna ease me in the entire thing," Josh said.

"And how do you guys think is your mother gonna take it?" Topanga asked.
"She says if I want to move closer to Josh for him to be apart of the baby's life she'll allow it," Maya said.
"What now? Are we departing from each other?" Riley asked.
"Yeah, we are. I already did discuss it with your grandmother and I'm gonna move in with them. The baby already has it's own room, they are going to revamp Eric's room while I go on staying in Morgan's. What Josh thought he would do is run classes at the college in Philly so he can still be close to his family and us. We'll discuss that later on," Maya said.
