I gave him a puzzled look when he parked his bullet in front of the scary bungalow. Aren't he the one who warned me not to think about going back to the bungalow. Now what? What changed his mind? Is he going to kill me?

"I'm not going to kill you. Maybe I will kill whoever is planning to snatch you away from me." His words were sincere as he is stating every sentence from the deep of his heart.

First of all who is going to separate us and why? Hugh?!!! Of course, it would be none other than the Heil. Back then he was the main Villan of my life and now, in our life.

"Blake...humm.. why are we here? You said don't come--" He shushed me before clutching my hand and walking inside the building.

I shut my mouth and went inside but this time something felt wrong. I mean it's not my first time but being with him made me feel like I'm in my home, not even the Hut gave me this feeling.

Every step inside the building increased my heartbeat as I was brought here to sacrifice my life like a sheep. "No need to afraid. I'm with you always." Blake drew a smooth circle over my palm which calmed my throbbing chest.

I nodded my head as a response unable to utter any words as my mouth was sealed together.

"Blake?!"

He gave me an assured smile and gestured me to enter the small room inside the big hall where the lots of books have been kept for years like he said before it was his mom's collection. So, the room inside the hall must belong to his mom's.

"This is where my mom spent her time when I was a fetus in her womb. She used to paint our future anywhere on the wall and the paper but being a selfish brat, my dad took everything with him. I have this portrait with me along with her stuff and books." In the corner of the room, I could able to see a small briefcase that I assume he is talking about this.

He then touched the tip of my nose and smiled. "I didn't expect I will find my love and will have an ordinary life like others. I thought my birth was cursed but you brought the light in my darkness." His eyes got glossy that crushed my heart into a million pieces.

For that moment I wanted to embrace him in my hands but I controlled myself from doing this. "I promise you I will not let you leave my side." He wiped the corner of my eyes and kissed my forehead.

"You loved your mom, aren't you?"

"I love you as I love her. You both are the same. I lost my precious part already but I'm not numb to lose you too." His grip against my hand tightened as I'm going to run away from him.

"I will not leave you. I promise you." I laid my head on his chest and inhaled deeply. "Let's find Heil together. After that, we can have a wonderful life."

"That's what you want, I will give you all my support." He flashed me a thousand watts smile.

---

"Now EAT!" He literally yelled at my face. "Two more minutes." I tried to explain but he shut my laptop.

Shuhhh!!!! I dragged my hand over my face and sighed defeatedly. "Okay!... I will eat."

He sat beside me and started to feed Onion Dosa with Tomato Chadni. "If you do this next time, I won't be a guarantee of your laptop." He warned me while feeding my brunch.

"Blake. It's not easy for me. Think twice before talk. What would you do if I was in Emiem's place? You sure you would take food and water three times a day?" I asked calmly but my voice reached the whole room.

"Thankfully, it's not you." Was his reply before he stormed out of my room with my laptop.

I shook my head and ate the remaining Dosa with half mind. It's been one week, one damn week but Emiem didn't open her eyes and the doctors have no idea what's happening to her. If it continues, she will fall into a permanent coma.

"Hey!!" Rakesh entered into my room snatching me from my miserable thoughts. He is not the old Rakesh I have known for a month. Emiem's condition changed him a lot. He truly loved her, still loves her.

"R- Rakesh." I gestured him to take a seat in front of me. "Emiem's condition is falling worst day by day." He came to the point straightly before I could ask.

I gulped down not knowing what to say. If I hadn't forced her to come with me, she would be in Texas with her parents now, happily. It's all happened because of me. I dragged her life to hell. I averted my gaze from him and looked somewhere but him. I failed to save her life. I failed her everything.

"Reil. Don't blame yourself for anything. It all happened because of fate. We can't decide anything against fate." He stood up ready to leave the place. "Our last hope is prayer." He turned his heels and walked out of my room.

"Yeah! Our last hope is prayer." I whispered to myself.

---

"You can see her now." The doctor who performed the cardiac treatment to Emiem flashed me a smile, his smile reached his eyes that strengthened my whole spirit.

"Thank you, doctor." I hugged him tightly. My happiness has no boundaries, it's like all my numb nerve got activation once again.

"Hmmpp...." A throat cleared and there I saw a furious Hunter ready to hunt the doctor who is in his late 60's where Rakesh pretended like he was managing his cough.

Giving him one fly kiss, I barked inside the room where Emiem has admitted for the past two weeks.

"Reil." Emiem stretched both her hands for a hug. "I thought I will never see you again." She gave me a bone crush hug which I returned with equal flavor.

"Me too." I cried happily. "But God heard my prayer." She agreed and dragged me to sit in her bed.

"I wanted to tell you something important---"

"Not now. Take rest. We will discuss the matter later." I gestured her to lay on the bed but she protested and said, "I said I want to tell you something important!!" She shouted partially.

"It can wait. Your health is more important to me." I lost my patience and raised my voice.

"It was a human!!! A damn human!!" Her breath hitched in her throat as she has attended the 400m hurdles.

"W-what? What human?" I shrugged my shoulders unable to understand what she was saying.

"Listen. Let me tell you clearly." She clutched both my hand and started to narrate what happened that morning before she passed out.

"When I and Rakesh were in my cabin sleeping peacefully, a roaring sound caught my attention. I knew it was 5 O' clock and being outside was dangerous but my curiosity took over and I walked out of my cabin and stood near the veranda where I saw a huge brown animal hunting a man without mercy. Thank God! I didn't scream otherwise it would kill me right there."

"A-and?" Heartbeat in my rib cage pounded heavily like it will burst out any other second. What would have happened if it had seen her? All hair in my body stood up, it gave me a Goosebumps all over in my stomach.

She inhaled deeply before letting out her voice, "Reil. I stood there almost 40 minutes when it killed the man cruelly and when I thought---" Her voice croaked.

She shook her head and said," When I thought it will leave the place it--- it transformed into a human form."

My already pale skin became to turn paler than ever as someone made my skin using the white clay. "How?" I managed to ask even though I knew the matter already as Heil named monster is not just a monster, but a human too. But my mind was very hard to believe such a matter and now it has proven through Emiem.

"It was a man. I swear to God, Reil. I saw him clearly. He was a human, a complete human being. He saw me. His grey eyes pierced through my soul. But he ran towards the East direction." Tears were pooled down through her cheeks like a waterfall.

"I knew it." I whispered.

"How?" Her eyes said she trusted my every word and will believe whatever I say. So I opened my heart and explained everything to her from the beginning as to how I got the book and Dr. Volts's encounter.

Even though she threw me a disappointed look, she saved the comments for later. "You are really a strong girl than I thought. Now promise me. We will work together. You are not going to find the man all alone." Emiem asked intensively.

"I'm not alone. Blake is with me."

"And I'm with you too!!" She said adamantly, not giving any space to argue.

"Okay... Don't tell the matter to Rakesh or any other team members." She nodded her head. "But why Rakesh?" Her brow furrowed.

"We are not in the situation to believe anyone right now. Heil is wandering around us. It may be---"

"I understand." Flash of hurt crossed her face but she masked it by her weak smile. Losing our loved one is the cruelest pain in the world.

Hope Rakesh is not Heil.
