One week has passed since my so-called injured leg cured completely but Blake was so adamant to accept the fact. For him, the incidents happened just a while ago, as well the wound was fresh as a Kashmiri apple.

I even run around our room to let him know I'm completely alright but that rod head not even convinced a bit. After explaining my involvement in the project, mainly in my stable state, he literally permitted me to go to the centre.

That's how I ended up in my cabin pacing back and forth while reading the book "The Hidden Secrets" in nth time. The memory was so fresh when Rakesh gave me this book just to get a credit but, instead, he got a heavy hit on his head.

Blake was considered as my enemy who wanted my death from Heil until I realized he wants nothing from me when he injected the yellow liquid in my butt. He proved that he has a heart beneath his rock hard chest although no people would agree with the terms. He indeed way to harsh towards them.

"Reil." A sharp voice cut my inner space and when I turned around I froze on the spot unable to move a bit. My body shivered while my heartbeats picked a heavy race, every thud was pain and hilarious. The piercing grey eyes are not helping the situation.

"So you knew the truth, aren't you?" A man who once upon a time I considered as an innocent soul took one step towards me that immediately withdrew my step back.

"Wh-- What--?" My eyes welled with tears. I thought Rakesh's chapter was closed but he reopened the chapter just to prove I was right all the time before I gave up and closed his file.

"Now I'm going to eat you!" In a swift movement, his hands find my throat and I screamed with all my stamina until I heard his panic voice which was far away from the tone he used a second ago.

"Girl! I'm just kidding. Don't scream. You broke my eardrums." Rakesh held his hands in the air while shaking his head dramatically.

"You scared me!!" I threw my clutch on his face but the fake Heil managed to duck the hit.

"I didn't expect this output from you." He met my same anticipating tone. "I thought you would pull the 6' syringe to my chest like how you did to Heil." Still, in the surrendering position, he let his panic voice out.

"This is the reason why—why you maintained a distance from me, aren't you?" He asked, the amusement has overtaken his slang.

"Idiot. Where did you get the grey eyes?" Instead of answering his question, I charged towards him and kicked his leg but unexpectedly he fell on the floor with his butt off. "You can find it in the clinic." He defended himself. For that, he earned a good kick on his legs from me.

"Ouch!" He yelled and tried to sit up but I landed on his stomach and threw some random punch on his chest until he begged me to let him go.

"You really scared me." I whispered, comfortably sitting on his stomach like I was sitting on the couch, a hard one.

"What for that?" A familiar voice sent chill down to my already icy spine. "Blake." I whined before ran to his arms. "This man really scared me." I looked at Rakesh who was now standing up.

"What he did to you?" A furrowing Blake looked between us. "Look at his eyes?" I pointed his shitty grey eyes.

"Dude I just--" I cut him off in his mid-sentence. "He pretended like a bloody Heil, literally send my life to hell." I snapped angrily.

"You still scared of him?!" Out of the blue, Blake asked taking me off completely guard.

"Of course I do!" I admitting honestly. After I figured out Heil was playing with us, a strange sensation spotted in my heart which I may name as fear. He is after us. The thought made me even be closer to Blake.
