"Hey! Such a disappointment!" With the slumped shoulders Blake called out from afar when he saw my Scooty approaching towards our house.
Hugh! Did he know I went to the bungalow? Geez!! I'm dead meat. "Why?" I asked as much as politely. If he was angry with me I would cease his anger with my humble behavior.
"Your hair-" He pointed his index fingers towards my head. Yeah! I have plenty of hair in my head. What happened now.
"You didn't color it?" His perfect brows raised together where his eyes shot me a questioning look.
Phew!!! Think Reil.. Think!!
"Ahh! I-- huguhmmp-" I cleared my throat to form a proper lies.
"I-- I need water. My throat is itching." I parked my Scooty before running inside the house leaving the furrowing Blake all alone with his glory behind me.
I drank two glasses of water before the third glass brutally snatched out of my hand by my sweet husband whose eyes were completely filled with concern and worries. Shaking his head he placed the glass on the kitchen counter before scooping me in his hands.
"Hey!" I protested and wiggled out of his grip but man, he is strong as Mount Everest. He may think a good place to slap me with a large number of questions will be our room.
"Trust me, Blake! I went there." He looked down at me before deciding to open his pretty mouth. "That's not a problem." He bent down to capture my lips which completely take me off God. So... He is not angry with me!
"You are nervous." He pointed out the moment we separated from the passionate kiss.
"Put me down." I waved my legs.
Cautiously, he placed me down as I was one of the antique scriptures which will broke down if he add even a slight pressure.
"I'm not ner- nervous." Shitt!! My voice betrayed me.
He dragged my small frame towards our bed and gestured me to sit beside him. I obliged and sat beside him not knowing what was running inside his rod head.
"You have plenty of time." He then glanced at the wall clock and said, "Now spill the beans." He pinched my cheeks. What for that!! I'm not a baby.
"Hey!" I shoved his hands when his large finger came to tickle my waist. "Okay! Okay!! I will tell you." I huffed in defeat.
"She demanded me to give her double amount just to color my hair." He looked at me eagerly like a kid as I'm telling him a bedtime story.
"I-- I got angry and-- and--" What would have I done if it had actually happened. Nah! I would shove the money in her face before storming out of her parlor not before demanding her to color my hair as perfect as possible. But this time I didn't color my hair because the incidents didn't happen in the first place as I didn't go to the parlor.
"And?" He pushed my button to tell him the details so that he can soothe my sour mood even though I would be happy if he had let go of this awkward conversation which, of course, full of filled with my imaginary story and a fake frustrations.
"I was very much disappointed. So I left the place not bothering to check other parlors." My face dropped because of two reasons.
Reason one, I lied to him. Reason two, for some unknown reason, I don't want to discuss the matter with him that I found Heil's mom's diary from the bungalow.
"It's okay, my love" His fingers raked through my fake black hair. "I will take you to a good parlor." His eyes met mine. "If it is comfortable with you." I nodded my head unable to find a word, my heart constructed fully of worries.
I shouldn't have lied to him.
"I will go with Emiem-" I placed my finger to his mouth before he gets the chance to protest. "It been a long time since we two spend a girl's time." My lips replaced my finger that is enough for me to shut his mouth.
-----
"---As we already know Heil's brain is twice time faster than the human." I flipped to the next screen and explained the recent activities of Heil including Natasha's attack.
"He is not allergic of---" The giddy feelings in my stomach brought the wave of nausea in nth time.
"Sorry. As I said he is not---" I covered my mouth when I felt sudden nausea. What happened to me? I didn't eat anything in the morning.
"Emiem." I gestured her to come over. With the furrowing eyes, she came and stood beside me. "Continue the session. I will be back in a minute." She gave me a murderous look as I asked her to cook for dinner.
"Please--" Once again I covered my mouth. This time she noticed my state and asked me worriedly, "You look so pale." I gave her one look that said when did I shine like a pink flower? The whole universe know I'm blessed with the pale skin.
"I mean sick." She corrected.
"Continue the session." I shoved the remote on her hand. "Sorry, guys. Emiem will continue the session." I excused myself before making my way towards my cabin but I didn't reach there successfully, rather, two hands lifted me in his arms when I was about to fall, and brought me to his cabin.
"This is why I insisted you eat a bit but you said you are not hungry. And now--" Please Blake don't scold me. I whined internally.
"You would almost have fallen on the floor." Blake made me sit on his chair and went to take the tiffin box which he carried with him as he thought it would need later.
He opened the box and handed to me. "Please." I pouted my lips but it didn't work.
Sighing inwardly, I took the small portion of 'Puri with Kurma' and shoved deep inside my throat. I repeated the steps three times before ran towards the bathroom as nausea came back to hunt me down.
"Shhh!!!" He rubbed my back while I was emptying my stomach in the toilet. "That smell horrible," I complained but he was in his deep thought as my whine didn't reach his ears.
I flushed the toilet and attempted to take a step, but again, he scooped me in his arms like I can't walk a bit as I was in the worst condition.
"Take rest, Reil." He said no room for argument before storming out of his room. I buried my face in my palms and groaned internally when nausea hit my throat once again.
After what seemed to be a complete five minutes, Blake rushed inside holding an orange juice in his hand. "Drink this. You will feel better." He stretched his hands.
"Noo." I shook my head. "My head is spinning," I whined like a child.
"Shhh! Trust me. You will feel better." He cooed before making me to drink half of the glass.
"You need to take rest. I will bring you to our home." I'm not in the mood to argue nor I have any energy, so I simply nodded my head.
The drive to our home was so quick and I'm glad we reached it without any inflict. He settled me down on the bed before placing a soft kiss on my forehead. "I will cook something--- you would like." He gave me a shy smile.
"Okay..." I whispered and looked at his back until his back faded away from my sight.
Involuntarily my mind dragged my hand to my stomach and a shy grin appeared on my face. Would I be pregnant? Blake was very keen to have a baby with me even though we are so small as to consider as a parent but I want a baby with him too, just to make him forget his awful childhood.
Dragging my legs towards the closet I opened the small drawer where I kept the pregnancy kit which was gifted by none other than Emiem, the culprit's friend of mine, on my wedding night.
"Shit!! I forgot about you." I facepalmed when my eyes landed on the diary which I got from the bungalow almost two weeks ago. I took out the pregnancy kit and the diary and again, my own diary flashed in front of my eyes just below the small tissue paper. I took out my diary too before closing the closet.
I set both the diaries on the table and went inside the bathroom with the shaking legs.
"I thought I told you to take rest." A handsome Blake let his voice out just when I came out of the bathroom. My hand worked very fast to throw the kit to the dustbin even before he got me.
"Did you feel sick again?" He cupped my cheeks, his face hitched with worries.
"No. I'm alright, Blake." I shook my head.
"You sure?" His face held a blank expression.
"Pretty sure." I tried to light his mood but he has the same blank expression on his face. Ahh!! This man.
"I will dance if y--" Strong arms engulfed me for a warm hug. "No need." I heard him laugh.
"I think your orange juice did something favor to my sour body." I teased, for that, his ears turned into a shade of pink. Hahaha....he can't be serious! I just complimented.
I rested my head at his chest but a wave of disappointment didn't fade away from my face. I'm not pregnant. It was just a stomach bug.
"Okay then." I clasped my hands.
"What?!" He gave me a questioning look. "I'm hungry, Blake. Where is my lunch?" I raised my brow. "It will be ready in a minute." He chuckled, then walked to the kitchen, not before pecking my lips for the affectionate kiss.
