I gave him my best puppy dog face to extinguish his anger. Huh! He was not angry nor sad. He was just worried about me. That's all but he shows his any kind of affection in the form of anger whether it be love, guilt or sad, that I learned on another day when we were trapped inside that wrecked buildings where he carried me on his arms just because I was so weak to walk by myself.

"It will not work." He sounds unsure. Hahaha... it affected him.

"Please... please... please.." I pouted my lips making my face more innocent than it ever would be.

"Reil. I know you are very passionate about your work but what about your health. Did you forget you have a broken leg?" He then eyed my legs which was not broken, just injured because of his careless mistake.

"And whose fault it is?" I narrowed my eyes at him even though that is not necessary but he is controlling my everything like I was a one-year-old kid who needs her full guide from her dad.

Not even in my life, my dad treated me like this... Hugh... Maybe he would but I was too young to remember that. At that time I was not a young girl, rather, I was a cute little pup.

He bit his bottom lips as he was recalling my cruel words despite the fact that my words can't be considered as cruelty as I just told him the fact.

"Why don't you go after one week. I'm sure you can able to walk a least by yourself. And---" I looked at him as to know whether he was serious or trying to crack a joke to ease my mood. But damn! He was serious. One week!! Seven days!! It's not possible. I can't stay here knowing a bloody Heil attacked one of my colleagues.

"And--- I'm serious. I want you to take rest at least for a month but because of your inability friend, I let you go after a week." What? One month!! Thirty days!

"Now eat." He zipped my open mouth which I have no idea how far I was looking at him with open mouth.

"What if I say no." I glanced at him.

"I dare you." He growled. He clenched his jaw as where his hand formed in a firm grip as he is going to punch someone's pretty face. The one who has a pretty face was me, except this handsome. And according to my knowledge, no one harms their own pretty face. So he is going to punch me?

"What?!" He kneeled in an instant when he saw my glossy eyes to check whether I was hurt but he doesn't know how badly he hurt my heart.

"It's--- it's not hurting." I shoved his hand as gentle as I could ever handle.

"Then why are you crying?" The frustrations look on his face replaced by a pure concern.

"I thought you were rude to other people. I thought you see me differently. I thought you care for me. I thought you--" I wiped my tears and looked into his intense worry-filled gaze.

"I thought you changed for good. Yet, you treat me like others." I swallowed the lumps deep into my throat as it felt a heavy dragger stuck inside my flesh.

"Whatever you say, I care for you." He kissed both my eyes before bringing his forehead to mine. His hot breath caressed every part of my face. somehow, It made me forget the cold moment we had a second ago.

"Okay--" He inhaled deeply before letting out a defeated sigh. "I will take you there." Wow! I didn't think it would be easy for me to convince him. Forget about my poetry, I didn't mean them. He is always my caring husband.
